This Cambridge college was founded (and this part of the college built) in the 1880s. The style is Victorian Late Perpendicular Gothic Revival (though to my untrained eyes it looks an awful lot like Tudor revival), designed by the architect Sir Arthur Blomfield.

I decided to choose the colored version for my fotostream, because the sandstone has it´s own and very special monochromatic touch.

The Tromsø Cathedral (Tromsø domkirke), located in the center of Tromsø, is the only wooden cathedral in Norway and one of the largest wooden churches in the country. The church was built in 1861 in a Neo-Gothic style, designed by architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. Its tall spire and light-colored wood give it a distinctive appearance, especially when illuminated at night. The cathedral serves as the seat of the Bishop of Nord-Hålogaland and remains an active parish church today.

The Church of Jesus’ Heart (Hungarian: Jézus Szíve templom) is a parish church in the historical centre of Kőszeg, Western Hungary. The building is considered to be a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture.

A relatively new addition to the Quito skyline, and now one of its most striking landmarks, is the Basilica del Voto Nacional, or simply "the Basilica." Consecrated in 1988 (though still technically unfinished), the church stands on a steep hill to the northeast of the Centro Histórico and can be seen from almost everywhere in the city, particularly at night when it is illuminated, beacon-like, in bright green and blue.
The highlight of a visit here is undoubtedly the climb up the tower, which offers several vantage points along the way. The first flight of stone stairs leads to a balcony where you can look down on the nave, its stone arches mottled in the bright colors of the stained glass windows. The second flight leads up to a southern viewpoint with a telescope, offering a close-up inspection of some of the old town’s other landmarks, including the Virgin perched on the Panecillo opposite. From here you have to head down a tenuous-looking (though perfectly safe) causeway and exposed iron ladder to get to the top. If you can manage it, you will be rewarded with excellent views that, on a clear day, stretch for miles over both the new and old parts of the city—something even the Panecillo can’t claim.

Architekt des Entwurfs war Baurat Brecht. Die Grundsteinlegung erfolgte 1866, die Einweihung des neugotischen Gotteshauses am 3. Mai 1871. Vier Glocken wurden aus der Vorgängerkirche übernommen.
The free-standing, powerful-looking three-aisled city church, which stands on an elevated level on the western edge of the city, has a wreath of ten stone pinnacles on the church tower. Inside it is well preserved.
The architect of the design was building officer Brecht. The foundation stone was laid in 1866 and the neo-Gothic church was inaugurated on May 3, 1871. Four bells were taken from the previous church.

Hotel Paris in Prague, built in 1904 by architect Jan Vejrych, is a prime example of Art Nouveau with neo-Gothic elements. Its richly decorated interiors, designed by Antonín Pfeifer and featuring ceramic mosaics by Josef Köhler, reflect the elegance of the Belle Époque. The hotel has remained in the Brandejs family since its inception and was declared a historical monument in 1984. After being returned to the family in 1991 following the Velvet Revolution, it was carefully restored to preserve its original character. Located near the Powder Tower and Municipal House, it continues to offer a luxurious and timeless experience in the heart of Prague.
