In 1842, the small Episcopalian community of Longueuil and of the surrounding area, built on land donated by the baron Charles William Grant, a small stone church in the neogothic style. Its small belfry was replaced three times. The stone portico and the pillars were built after the construction. In 1876, a small school for the English speaking children was built east of the church. It was torn down in 1935.
On the west side of the church lot, a red brick house was built in 1893 for the pastor and his family. The building is characteristic of the Victorian epoch, as shown by the triangular architectural ornaments of the dormer windows and of the roofs which are covered up by moldings and boards artistically cut.
This last building more than 100 years old was acquired by the city of Longueuil in 1990. Today it is known as the “Old Rectory - Vieux Presbytere “ it serves as a show center.
In 1996, after an understanding between the City of Longueuil, the factory of St. Mark and the business people of Longueuil, the garden is serving as a public park with a central music kiosk.

The Basilica of the National Vow (Spanish: Basílica del Voto Nacional) is a Roman Catholic church located in the historic center of Quito, Ecuador. It is the largest neo-Gothic basilica in the Americas. The basilica arose from the idea of building a monument as a perpetual reminder of the consecration of Ecuador to the Sacred Heart. The basilica remains technically "unfinished." Local legend says that when the Basílica is completed, the end of the world will come.

The tallest tower, known as the "Tower of the Condors", which is 115 meters high, and instead of gargoyles it has only condors, since they need at least this height to be able to fly in. This detail is highly representative , since the condor is the national bird of Ecuador and is crowning its national shield, just like this temple crowns. At the highest point of the main tower you can see most of the city and the mountains that surround it.
A Spanish-colonial stunner, Quito’s vibrant Centro Histórico is packed with elaborate churches and old-time monasteries (some were centuries in the making), people-packed plazas and looming bell towers. History lurks around every corner of this well-preserved center. Delve into the past by stepping off the cobblestones and entering beautifully maintained museums, historic mansions and jaw-dropping sanctuaries. Afterwards, have a meal in an old-world restaurant or join the festivities on lively La Ronda street before retiring to one of the many charming guesthouses in the neighborhood.

Shopping Centre, Amsterdam
"In 1993 the imposing Neo-Gothic main post office of government architect C.H. Peters was restored and recast as a shopping centre. Two existing light courts were enlarged for the purpose and a third inner court was given a glass roof. Ruijssenaars retained the existing main entry and stairtowers, supplementing them with two escalator systems. The service entrance on Raadhuisstraat was enlarged into a second entry to the shopping centre. In all, there are 6000 m2 of luxury stores ranged along the outer walls, separated from the galleries by airy folding partitions kept clear of the ceiling."
Hohenschwangau - From 1832 to 1836, the neo-Gothic castle was build by crown prince Maximillan of Bavaria from the ruins of the ruined castle Schwanstein. King Ludwig II spent his childhood here and it served as the romantic summer and hunting residence for the Bavarian royal family.
Notre Dame in Baueux is a beautiful medieval cathedral built in both Romanesque and Gothic style (depending on what part of the church you're looking at).
But the central tower here is actually 19th century. Well, the lower part of it is properly medieval, but that got renovated and a second level was added in 1866 and the whole tower was given that 'more-medieval-than-the-Middle-Ages'-look typical of the Neo-Gothic style (but not necessarily in a bad way).

As seen from my hotel at that time. Official name is "Pfarrkirche Maria Hilf in der Au". Built 1831 to 1839 in neogothic style.
The church was nearly destroyed during the final bombing raid on Munich on April 25 1944, only the steeple survived. Re-build in 1951/52.

Interior from the Reichsburg Cochem. The castle has old ancestry and is believed to have been built in the early 12th century. But it is not the medieval castle you can see today. That was destroyed by French troops in 1689. What you can see now is the brain-child of Louis Fréderic Jacques Ravené who bought the ruins 1868 and had the castle (re-)built, in the Neo-Gothic style - an architectural style that tried to recreate the medieval Gothic style, often ending up looking more medieval than the Middle Ages ever did. Like in this room. This is the ceiling in the 'Frauenzimmer' (Ladie's room) complete with paintings of chivalrous knights. The double-headed eagle above the window is the symbol of the German Confederation (Deutscher Bund) and officially used 1848-1866, which means it was actually outdated at the time of decorating this room, since the work here began in 1868.
'Reichsburg' indicates a castle owned by the (German) emperor. Which it obviously isn't today - but the name has stuck.

In the new church of Vallsjö - inaugurated in 1895, and built in Neo-Gothic style (really unusual in this part of the country). This church was built to replace the medieval church of Vallsjö, which was much smaller. Today the choice of place can look a bit weird, since the church is sitting at the outskirts of Sävsjö, a much larger place than Vallsjö. But when the church was built, things were different and Sävsjö just starting to grow after the railway had reached the place. So the place was chosen as a compromise between those who wanted to have it in Sävsjö, and those who wanted it next to the old church (the place now is 4 kilometres away, as the crow flies, from the old one - and a bit longer than that if you want to actually stick to a road).
At the entrance of the village of Fuissé near Mâcon, we see a sign announcing a watchful village. Quite discreet, it does not prevent us from admiring the beautiful village church dating from 1872. It was built by a pupil of Violet le Duc in a flamboyant neo-Gothic style rare in Burgundy.

The 1908 Parkview Apartments at 45 E66th St in Manhattan. If you were wealthy back then and looking for an apartment, this fancy building would've been for you.The red brick building and white terra-cotta structure drips with Neo Gothic ornamentation!Terra-cotta was just making its mark in the early 19th century as an extremely versatile and inexpensive building material and architects embraced it with much enthusiasm. The architects, Harde & Short, used terra-cotta in the ornamentation for the building to most likely lure the well-to-do as they did with the Red House, another apartment building they designed together. When it was built, the 10-story building had two apartments per floor with 12-14 rooms for each. The famous address then was 777 Madison Avenue with the entrance on the side of the building,it's now at the corner. There are as many multi-paned windows as masonry on the structure.Gothic screens like lace are around the building on the 6th and 10th floors, most of which had been removed between 1948-1953 to give the building a more modern look, they were later restored in 1987.The building is now a co-op. daytoninmanhattan.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-1908-parkview-...

The Province Court (Provinciaal Hof) is a Neogothical building on the market place in Bruges, Belgium. It is the former meeting place for the provincial government of West Flanders. In 1294, the Waterhalle, 95m long and about 30m high, was built as the central point of the port of Bruges, right in the heart of the city. When the boats no longer could reach the hall, it was demolished in 1787 and replaced with a neoclassicist building. From 1850 on, part of this was used to house the provincial government meetings, until it burned down in 1878. A replacement in neogothical style, intended to house the province and a postal office, was started in 1887 by architects Louis Delacenserie and René Buyck. The post office was opened in 1891, and the first part of the Provinciaal Hof in 1892. The last parts of the buildings were finished in 1920.
The building was used as the government meeting hall until 1999, and is now mainly a ceremonial building. Bruges, Belgium
On a hill in the northeastern part of the Old Town looms this massive Gothic church, Quito's largest, built over several decades beginning in 1892. Rather than gargoyles, turtles and iguanas protrude from the church’s side. The highlight is the basilica’s towers, which you can climb if you have the nerve – the ascent requires crossing a rickety wooden plank inside the main roof and climbing steep stairs and ladders (with solid handrails) to the top.

"The Molino Stucky is a Neo-Gothic building in Venice, on the western end of Giudecca island, near the ancient village Fortuny. It was designed by Ernst Wullekopf and built between 1884 and 1895 by the Swiss businessman Giovanni Stucky, whose father had married into the Italian Forti family and moved to the Veneto. It was first built as a flour mill supplied by boats across the lagoon and also operated as a pasta factory.
Extensions were added in 1895 but it began to decline in the 1910s before being permanently closed in 1955. [...]
As of today, the complex houses the Hilton Molino Stucky, a five-star hotel."
