"One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of attention." - Jim Rohn
Ps: My camera couldn't ignore this poor flower. Was spotted on the side of the road just minutes after it got rained on. The petals were torn, probably had been run over or stepped on, and nobody seemed to notice except my lens.

Thanks everyone for your views, comments, awards, invites and faves.
Thanks to all of you for your input regarding whether to keep posting my texture work in a second account. You spoke to my heart and I feel good moving forward to have all of my work contained in one place. While I know that some of my contacts prefer one style over the other, there will be something for all of you as I change things up often.
Please take a minute to press L and view in large!

I remember these in full and almost continual use some decades ago. Now they are neglected and I expect a very unpleasant experience should you be brave enough to open a door of one of these K6's!
Are they really worth keeping in this condition? As seen on a walk in Enfield - they are located in Little Park Gardens.

The Oberpfalz Jura (German: Oberpfalz Jura) is the part of the Franconian Jura. The main part is located in Upper Palatinate (German: Oberpfalz) in Bavaria, Germany. This image was made near Berching.
Berching is a historical town with a fully preserved town wall and low streamlet. The first settlement was registered in 883, so it is more than 1100 years old.
Now that the Great Egrets are nest building so actively (and photogenically), I’ve been neglecting the many Ibis in the area (which are later breeders). Here’s one in Riverstone Wetlands with a couple of Mottled Ducks bottom grazing. Sugar Land, Texas.

I was on a walkabout looking for car trails and highway LE's through a metal fence when I instead happened upon this, the sight of it reminded me of the very inspiration behind Dark City Deutschland, a photographer by the name of Gregory Crewdson, whose work inspire me many years ago and made me want to get into photography.
Whilst Crewdson uses a very heavy human influence in his work, in my collection I wanted to remove the human factor but keep the evidence of it having been there, in the darker sense. Crewdson's work really hit home, the urban style, the depressive factor and as other's have pointed out, he makes the eerie evocative and curious. I really hope this is what I too have achieved, as one day I want to make book out of my work for DCD.
You can read about Gregory Crewdson, his work and style here...

An old church/school going to ruin in Michelago. It was built in 1865 and is located next to larger Saint Patricks Church which was built in 1907.
This shot shows the teacher's residence side of the building. Bedroom, lounge room with fireplace and a kitchen with fuel stove. The church/school was under the remaining tin roof.
The township of Michelago is approximately 54 kilometres south from Canberra along the Monaro Highway, New South Wales. It was founded in the 1820's, on the main route from Sydney to the Snowy Mountains.
If your property is in the city, the local Homeowners Association would be all over you for neglecting your fence line. Luckily, this prejudice doesn't apply in rural locations, where a dilapidated fence takes on the aura of an art form--at least to someone with a camera.
Happy Fence Friday everyone.

I came out of my self-isolation last weekend to find that the lovely vase of tulips had been left without any fresh water so all the flowers had flopped over and had completely dried out. I still find them oddly beautiful so placed this one on the lightpad.
