I've found some old b&w negatives. Unfortunetly I don't have a scanner so I was "forced" to reshoot that by sticking film to the window.

It's pretty much history of my family. The tallest boy is my brother that I've never had opportunity to meet because of his death in 1979 (killed by truck).

Picture was taken in country side where my grandmother lived. My dad took the picture using Pentacon Six TL that is now in my hands. Sentimental stuff...

8x10 paper negative, hastily developed and underfixed. The light was a bit harsh for paper, but I expected that. Light leaks aren't *too* bad considering that one of the corners of the spring back is missing the piece that holds it on.

Hope to try this thing out with real film soon.

Negatives posted on the wall in the old photo lab at Baruch College. This building on Park Avenue is no longer part of the campus.

I had to put something out there. Any suggestions what to do the next week?

an old glass plate negative

Took this shot as 1 of 3 intending to HDR it. I just think that the unprocessed out of camera image was so much better.

A few photos from Chris Kirby's "Negative Series" exhibition, currently running at Cafe Pause until July 7.

Says Chris: "I've created a new line of porcelain ware and am showing it for the first time at Cafe Pause. Reversing the positive/negative relationship between mold and object, the 'negative series' captures the unexpected shape of negative spaces."

Tomorrow night (Friday, July 4, from 19:30) the designer will be at the cafe for an informal reception.
