8x10 paper negative, hastily developed and underfixed. The light was a bit harsh for paper, but I expected that. Light leaks aren't *too* bad considering that one of the corners of the spring back is missing the piece that holds it on.
Hope to try this thing out with real film soon.
Lack of formal organization is also a form of organization. These loose photos and negatives with index prints are all stored in the paper envelopes in which they came home from the photofinisher. They are tucked away in an obscure, out of the way place until I have more time to attend to housekeeping.
The negative sleeves have handwritten metadata in permanent marker to annote the date ranges for the roll of film, the camera that was used, and the subject of the photos, whereas index prints show the date that the negatives were processed. Recording this kind of metadata is a rare practice as it's time-consuming and must be done as a routine, otherwise there's no way to remember what date ranges a roll of film contains.

I haven't yet decided if "negative snore voltage" sounds to me more like Frank Key or like Stanislaw Lem.
This is the first paper negative I've ventured out for. Taken at Orton Mere Docks/Weir - this was supposed to include an anchor, but it didn't get included in the frame.
You can see the sun in the top of the picture.
