I seem to be stuck in 1:12 buying mode. I saw this counter & stools in other colors & was able to resist, but this black/oak combo broke my resistance. I have no room for it on their shelf, so I don't even know what I'm going to do with it LOL. That said, I wish it came in 1:6 scale, my bigger girls would love this.
None of my pics really turned out, meh. I want to do more of her taking pics of her little dolls. :3
A couple of neem leaves being back-lit by morning sun in my garden !!! The background was provided by a distant coconut leaf !!!
Since the 500mm mirror lens (Tamron) is a complete manual lens you may not find the exif detail. You can read aperture as f/8 and focal length 500mm.

I finally finished, at least until 3 days from now when I think of something new & have to redo something LOL. I spent so much time on tiny details that only I can see, but it makes me happy knowing they're there.
I kept most of the kitchen stuff blue to match the accent wall in the library, to blend the two sides together. I also did a little modification on a couple of the kitchen units. The shelf with the blue cups was like the shelf at the top of the unit, it looked nice, but it's completely useless because it's too small to put anything in there. I was able to pull it off & reglue it the way it is now, to make it usable. I also spent a ton of time on the stove vent, repainting it silver & adding jump rings on the end to add some metal.
This was way more work than any of my 1/6 shelves, because I didn't really have any 1/12 size items, & I had to buy pretty much everything, which meant I changed my mind a billion times. I also kept overestimating how much room I had, so I bought some things that I'm not using, but maybe I will someday. Also, the shelf is only 22 X 12 X 12, so a lot of stuff had to fit in a small space. At least it is finished. For now. :-)
I decided that my tiny Picco Neemo girls needed another shelf, so I put together this mid-century modern inspired shelf It's basically 1/12 scale like my girls.. It's still a WIP, I have to figure out how to smooth out the brick walls, add some wall art & assorted decorative items, & most important, figure out what to do about couch cushions. I don't really sew, so actually making tiny cushions is beyond me. I'm thinking that maybe I'll try covering the wood pieces that are the "cushions" it comes with, with fabric. That may be enough.
Spring is coming and three Liccas of mine by Licca Castle are playing out in the sun today. ^o^ Yay for friendship! Give them a comfy sofa and they're good to go.
My Pure Neemo bodies and hands arrived in the morning after quite a delay (of course customs had to poke their nose into the package and charge me as usual >_>;;) and I went straight to the cool 'peace sign' hands I've so been looking forward to. Now Liccas look like typical teenagers posing for the camera!
Clothes are mix & match.
Here there are some pics of the repainted Picco Neemo! (WIP pics coming soon) Now It fits her better, I like it more than the original glittery Novi star body... and it's posable! *w*
I while painting it I had and "art attack" so I made her some tatoos with the same pattern of the eyebrows.
For the life of me I can not figure out where the light is coming from when I take pictures of this shelf. I closed the blinds on all the windows in the room, but I'm still getting shadows & it's driving me crazy. No matter what I do, I can't seem to take a good picture.
A Oriental garden lizard (Calotes versicolor) perched on a neem tree in my garden in deep thought about his next move !!!
Have a great Sunday, dear friends !!!

Something I forgot to post from a while ago. I've been busy making patterns and designing stuff, so I haven't photographed or done anything else productive lately... but maybe soon I'll have the energy to do some sewing. I have a huge amount of doll clothes all cut and ready, but I just never feel like sewing them, ahah.
I also need some new fabrics for stuff I'm planning (too many designs now).
This setup took forever & it all started because I made a sushi cookbook that had readable pages (that's it at the top). Other people made the sushi, but I made the wasabi, ginger, & the miso soup, working in 1:12 scale is HARD LOL. I also replaced the stools that came with the kitchen set because everyone kept falling off of them. I found these chairs which were actually counter height, which of course didn't work, so I cut them all down to work with the island. Dollhouse stuff is so light that the slightest touch moves it out of place, with my fat fingers, I need to stick with 1:6 scale. :-)
My level of frustration with the new "enhanced" bodies grows every time I try to change their hands. The holes on all the extra hands are too small. You would think this is something that Azone would check before shipping out the dolls, but apparently not. I have a a couple of tiny drill bits I'm using to make the holes bigger, but I'm worried I'll make them too big. I shouldn't have to do it to begin with.
