These are the branches of my Neem tree. My friendship with this tree was 27 long years. I am sorry I had to cut it down for two reasons, one is to extend the garage and the 2nd reason is it was too close to the house.
The good news is that it is going to live for many many years in someone's house as frames for doors and windows!

On the last day of this trip, a number of neighbors came to watch me take a photo of the lever frame in the northern signal box at Daulatpur. This sparked the idea to have a few more people pose on the stairs of this signal box shortly afterwards. In no time, almost the entire staircase was filled, allowing this atmospheric farewell photo to be taken.
After this shot, we head back towards Dhaka, where a few photos are quickly taken in the very last light. With a mass of successful shots and a heap of intense memories, we head back home. It will more than likely be a "see you soon" instead of a "farewell," Bangladesh!

Since Moxie Girlz fit the XS body, I decided to see if Moxie Girlz Friends clothes fit the Picco Neemo body so I bought one. It seems to fit pretty well, but the clothes are really cheaply made, & there are only 4 of them without a lot of variety. In fact, this is the only dress I like out of the 4. The shoes kept falling off, so I put a small rubber band around them.

The bark of Neem (Azadirachta indica) exudes resin whenever it is breached. I noticed this amber colored resin caught on this vine which had an interesting braided stem - reinforced almost like a nylon rope! Like everything else in the backyard, there is a Spider silk running through this as well..

Neem plant (Azadirachta indica).
The neem tree grows up to 30 meters tall and about 2.5 meters in circumference.
It has numerous medicinal properties, so much so that in India it is called "the village pharmacy."
For centuries, Indians have used this plant to treat pain, fever, and infections. They also clean their teeth with its sprigs, treat skin disorders with the juice extracted from the leaves, and drink its infusion as a tonic.
It was introduced to West Africa in the early 20th century to provide shade and prevent the Sahara Desert from spreading southward.
