HR:

EN:

The wild Vitex agnus-castus (chaste tree) lures the scarce swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius) with its fragrant lilac flowers. He flutters endlessly, greeting each blossom as if for the first time. And there I wait, patiently, with my Canon 100mm macro — and this time, I got him.

FR:

IT:

SL:

Samorasla konopljika privablja metulja Podalirija (Iphiclides podalirius) s svojimi nežnimi cvetovi. Poleti mimo, a spet se vrne — in jaz čakam s svojim objektivom.

HU:

A vadon növő barátcserje illatos virágaihoz vonzza a Kardoslepke (Iphiclides podalirius) pillangót.

PL:

Dzika konopljika przyciąga pazia żeglarza (Iphiclides podalirius) swoimi pachnącymi, liliowymi kwiatami. Lata niespokojnie — ale ja byłem gotów go uchwycić.

A Halloween pennant dragonfly balanced on a curved stem; wings banded in gold and shadow.

Florida spring light softens behind it, letting the details speak — the quiet geometry, the held breath, the moment between wingbeats.

Lingonberries (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) and reindeer moss (Cladonia rangiferina) seem to like each other. While wandering through forests in Sweden, I always found these two plants together. They make a pretty contrast, deep red and snow white, which reminds me of that fairy tale character, Snow White :-).

Gebänderte-Prachtlibelle - Männchen

A moment of stillness, fragile and quiet — nature’s silent elegance.

A quiet bloom that burns softly against the dark, holding its own light without making a sound.
