Glencoe is a village in western Scotland. It lies in steep-sided Glencoe valley, in the Scottish Highlands. The area is known for waterfalls and trails that climb peaks such as Buachaille Etive Mor and Bidean nam Bian. In the village, Glencoe Folk Museum occupies 18th-century thatched cottages, with displays on local heritage and the Glencoe massacre of 1692. Wildlife in the area includes red deer and golden eagles.

A forest which was buried under water and sand more than 4,500 years ago can be seen on Borth beach in Ceredigion, Cymru/Wales.
The remains of the forests trees, preserved in the local peat, have been exposed by low tides and high winds.
Known as the Sunken Forest or Sunken Kingdom, this graveyard of trees – pine, alder, oak and birch – has been preserved since 1500 BC and surfaced at various points in history, in folktales, songs and legends from the 17th century, that widely identify it with Cantre'r Gwaelod (The Lowland Hundred), an ancient civilization described as a ‘Welsh Atlantis’.

At one point today I had 5 Great spotted woodpecker in at the same time, saw an adult feeding it's young, of course this was when I didn't have the blooming camera, I'll try again to catch it tomorrow.

Tôt par un matin froid de Septembre , juste au bout du lac j’aperçois une femelle orignal .Par une approche calme et discrète , sans vouloir la déranger , elle me laisse l’approcher . Aucune nervosité dans son comportement , aucune méfiance tout comme pour me dire je t’ai vue et bienvenue . Son regard avait une tendresse que je ne peux décrire , une douceur remarquable dans les yeux ! Après une heure à la regarder manger et boire , à s’observer l’un et l’autre avec une proximité presque palpable , et moi sans bouger et sans faire le moindre bruit , elle me regarda longuement et toujours avec ce doux regard , elle disparue tout doucement dans le boisé … Jamais je n’oublierai la douceur de son regard ! Sweet Lady…

We both still are enjoying our week off and had some luck with the weather again today.
Decided to visit National Park Dwingelderveld again and follow some hikingtrails.
Wanted to test and practice some more with our gear again.
