Un milieu où le temps s’arrête , où le silence règne en maître et où le chant des huards au petit matin nous transporte dans un autre monde , le lac …
An environment where time stands still , where silence reigns supreme and where the song of the loons in the early morning transports you to another world , the lake …

The common kestrel is a bird of prey species belonging to the kestrel group of the falcon family Falconidae. It is also known as the European kestrel, Eurasian kestrel, or Old World kestrel. In the United Kingdom, where no other kestrel species commonly occurs, it is generally just called "kestrel"
Sun, clouds, some rain, and a lot of mushrooms on a lesser visited trail near Schoonloo and Grolloo.
The trail is called "Sprokkelspoor" and it does not follow the standard paths, instead you find yourself deep in the forest following a small and narrow trail.
It is a nice trail to follow but don't get lost in the dark forest. The trail markers are sometimes hidden and hard to find.
The leucitic,or "white" Red Kite photographed today at Gigrin farm, Rhayader. It's unusual colour is caused by a rare genetic mutation which prevents normal pigmentation of the feathers resulting in predominantly white or pale plumage.

To see even more details, it is worth zooming into the picture twice.

In the forest's graceful haze,
A gray squirrel twirls and plays,
With nimble paws and eyes so bright,
It dances with elegant delight.
Through the branches, it gracefully leaps,
As nature's secrets, it slyly peeps,
Its fur a tapestry of silver and gray,
A vision of beauty along the way.
With agile steps and a graceful stride,
It scampers, it glides, and it cannot hide,
Its tail, a feathery plume so grand,
Guiding its path across the land.
Among the trees, it finds its bliss,
A creature of charm, it cannot dismiss,
So delicate and full of poise,
Bringing nature's symphony with its voice.
Oh, graceful gray squirrel, a marvel to behold,
In your presence, stories unfold,
Through the forest, you silently roam,
A reminder of beauty, wherever you roam.

It was a lucky coincidence that a third four-spotted dragonfly in the focus area was also in the picture.
I moved the lower dragonfly a little closer to the lovers so that it would have a visual connection in the picture.

A forest which was buried under water and sand more than 4,500 years ago can be seen on Borth beach in Ceredigion, Cymru/Wales.
The remains of the forests trees, preserved in the local peat, have been exposed by low tides and high winds.
Known as the Sunken Forest or Sunken Kingdom, this graveyard of trees – pine, alder, oak and birch – has been preserved since 1500 BC and surfaced at various points in history, in folktales, songs and legends from the 17th century, that widely identify it with Cantre'r Gwaelod (The Lowland Hundred), an ancient civilization described as a ‘Welsh Atlantis’.
