It seems that if I don't have a button for it, I have a miniature for it. :)

I resti di un albero decomposto ed isolato sembrano un totem verso il cielo. In effetti, poi, avvicinandomi, ho potuto verificare come l'albero fosse stato abbattuto da un fulmine.
Il cielo dona, il cielo toglie :)

Snow showing in the back country near Markleeville, a forest service shed had its lights on and lit up this lone tree in the open.

National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
A point of interest in this semi-basement space is that it is open to the air on the left hand side allowing for natural ventilation, and a view through to the adjacent landscape.

I visited the Abnormality event and was blown away by all the creativity and avatars I saw there. Nothing in this image is from the event. I just felt inspired to do something ♥

Simpson's stopper (Myrcianthes fragrans)
Also known as Twinberry, Simpson's stopper is an evergreen shrub or small tree that occurs naturally in coastal strands and hammocks. Its year-round blooms attract a variety of butterflies and bees; its fruit provides food for many bird species. member of the Eucalyptus family, Myrtaceae.
Buntings, cardinals, blue jays, and the official state bird, the mockingbird, are some you might see enjoying the berries.
The leaves are also fragrant when crushed, giving off a spicy/citrusy scent similar to nutmeg. (various sources)

One from the archives - looking for something else and rediscovered shots from a wild camp near Tarskavaig, one of the best sunsets I have ever seen here on Skye - no colour enhancements were required!

Taken today with Hipstamatic app for today's Saturday Self challenge theme "naturally framed". Sure I'd have to sneak a bench in wouldn't I 😂 HBM & HGGT!
Photo 38/100 : My 100x photos this year will all feature benches or chairs.
Waves have eroded this striking sea arch at Ponta Furada, along the rugged southern coast of Faial near the Freguesia (Civil Parish) of Feteira in the Azores. The coastline is primarily composed of basaltic volcanic rock.
Notably, 'Ponta Furada' translates to 'Pierced Point,' a fitting name for this naturally sculpted arch."
The members of We’re Here! are out and about today, enjoying *Nature**.
I live in Fort Collins, Colorado. The city has taken great pains to preserve many beautiful "Natural Areas" sprinkled liberally throughout and around the town. The theme today got me out of my apartment and onto a trail at the crack of dawn. Wonderful!
I saw some pretty light on our end table this morning and was eating grapes so I put two and two together and wa-la. It feels so good to post a brand new pic. I'm SO over going through my archives looking for something to post. Time for spring so I can get out there and shoot again! It's been too cold for me.
Texture: Les Brume. (I'm addicted to this one texture...can't stop using it. help!)
