Hickory Tussock Moth caterpillar. They're approximately 5 cm long, white, fuzzy, with a few big tufts of black hair near its front and back. These hairs are connected to poison glands. If you touch these tufts, the glands will excrete venom, some say.
Hope this has enough white - tried for anything but flowers. got Lucky and found this H T Moth - main subject white and all natural - unless he found a open salon to colour it's hair 😁
Believe it or not this is not a selective colour image, the only processing I have done is to lighten shadows, lift the white exposure a little and sharpen.
With the fog and snow creating the haunting virtually mono backdrop I knew the little tree would provide great foreground interest
