The eagle eyed of you may notice that I have already uploaded a photo of this Fiat. The last one was the rear view and included a bar which gave away the tourist location. This time I have hopefully avoided all signs of the tourist world in this photo taken in the UNESCO heritage listed city of Noto.
Literally not in Japan, one of the best picture I have taken in January, maybe the best picture for this year
Not by any means but what it is, is MY home patch. We went along to go to our static caravan last weekend at the east coast so this is the North Sea. The sun sets inland obviously but i captured some warmth touching the groyne posts from the right so not casting my shadow. Jonathan myselves and our dogs rarely bump into anyone in October or November and I find the sea so relaxing. This was shot handheld with my little Fuji x100v to those who would knock this area, which many do then I would tell you it is one of the most relaxing places on earth....
NS 1069 leads an eastbound manifest through Pittsburgh City’s famous “Trench” on the Pittsburgh Line. Unfortunately this train ran a week too early, and the trees were not ripe for fall foliage.
A not so black Black Bear forages for food as the sun starts to loose its glow.

A Small White [Pieris rapae] on a Dock leaf. Not poular with gardeners but they have their own beauty!
The common name, Forget Me Not, comes from a German legend about a knight who died trying to get the flowers for his lover and called out with his last breath, “Forget me not!”. The Greek name, Myosotis, means mouse's ear because the oval, furry leaves resemble a mouse's ear.
We never have a chance to see the Aura, until last night. I didn't even know about it, we usually are way too far south to see this special event. Congrats to the lucky person that captured this beautiful moment!
Just like me :) Peyto Lake, a must see...it was a hike to get up here in the heat but worth it. Judging by my mail i thought it was time I poked my head up. This summer has been quite adventuresome to say the least. Most of the places i explored had no cell service, just the way i like it. Met some really interesting people along the way, Brits being high on the list as the nicest people....needless to say never a dull moment. This is exactly how i saw this lake. If you don't believe me there are plenty of images on google to look at. Couldn't be a more perfect day. The Alberta Rockies stir my soul and make me come undone like no other place on earth. Have a great weekend!!
The Eifel is beautiful -- often wet and cold--but mysterious ,has empty roads and is far from the madding crowd!
Mid winter and I'm in shorts and tee shirt at the beach. Nice for taking photos but not sure it's a great sign in the scheme of things. Yes I did go for a paddle.

This is my 3rd visit to Hokkaido of Japan and perhaps my # 10th boat trip to shoot these eagles.....but I have yet to get the perfect shot ! LOL.
The 5:30am morning trip is just for photographers and would cost you $30 more. The boat carries about 30 people and advance booking is recommended.

Not too long after this the sky opened up and it rained. Hope the guys out on the sailing boat didn't get too wet.

Spotted on a leaf of our Pittosporum tree, Not its usual resting place so its colours don't blend.
This was taken during a recent visit to the beach on the western shore of Lake Michigan. Our present "feels like" temperature is MINUS 7 F. Not quite Spring may be a bit of an understatement.
