In 2009, we visited the Northlandz and really had a good time. The size of the models / terrain was very impressive. The size of the building in general is impressive, with 2+ miles of walking from beginning to end. The Doll Museum was a smaller section of the building, and was nice as well. We can not wait to go back this year.

Did you know? All aboard the longest LEGO model train in the world!
Alexander Blong, a 14-year-old from New Zealand, built the Lego model train, which now has 101 carriages, breaking the old record of 69. All 101 carriages were constructed in around 50 hours. But that wasn't the only thing he needed to build a train that long; it also needs an even longer track to travel on!
The train must be able to go for a minimum of 10 meters in order to officially break the record (32.80 ft).

Did You Know? Who invented the first train in America?
\John Stevens is known as the father of the American railroad industry. In 1826, he created and conducted the first practical test track for steam-powered locomotion at his estate in Hoboken, New Jersey. Three years before George Stephenson implemented a practical steam locomotive in England, Stevens was the first one to create streamlined methods of transport.
