In 2009, we visited the Northlandz and really had a good time. The size of the models / terrain was very impressive. The size of the building in general is impressive, with 2+ miles of walking from beginning to end. The Doll Museum was a smaller section of the building, and was nice as well. We can not wait to go back this year.

A glimpse into our control room! We have about 97 sections of track, each controlled by its own tranformer, which takes the electricity from the building and reduces it to the number of volts needed to power the trains. We turn the levers about an hour in advance to make sure all the trains are up and running when Northlandz opens up for the day!

Iron Valley is the home of the Spiraling Bridges. The bridges collapsed when a neophyte volunteer lost his balance. Now, Godzilla has moved into the area, and his roar can be heard rumbling down the valley. We’re not sure if he’s trying to wreck the train or save it, and he sure isn’t telling us anything. Hopefully, you'll take a look at this area at the end of your visit!
