Christmas curves as the holiday season gears up, Stephens Green shopping centre feeling very festive red beside a Christmas tree at the top of Grafton Street, while a LUAS tram curves around bringing home the evening commute.
Gladys, what are you doing with these numbers? We don't need any friggin' numbers!! We use pinches! Duh.
Created for the 7DWF group "Numbers" challenge. Die cut the numbers from thick copper cardstock. Was giggling the whole time doing this one. It's silly and such fun!! ;-)

Traffic streaking along by the Custom House in Dublin City Centre, some nice light projections as part of the "winter lights " campaign for Christmas 2021.
Argentinian tall ship Libertad makes a weekend call to Dublin.
The 340-foot-long Libertad arrived from Baltimore, USA & berthed at the toll bridge on cruise 18, opening to the public.
The 149-day training voyage to 11 ports across nine countries including Brazil, Santa Lucia, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, USA, Ireland, France and Spain.
Commanding Officer Captain Carlos Schavinsky Trinchero, the Libertad is the Argentinian Navy’s sail training ship with a crew of 24 officers, 187 crewmen, as well as 150 cadets.

HMS Brocklesby, a Hunt-class mine counter-measures vessel of the British Royal Navy on a courtesy visit to Dublin over the weekend.
Brocklesby is the first naval visitor to Dublin in 2023 & one of the few since covid restrictions since 2020. She is celebrating 40 years in service, her primary purpose is to seek out and neutralise enemy mines using sonar technology, currently under the command of Lieutenant Commander Matthew Teare.

Arriving on Friday 3rd & departing on Monday 6th, which is a new public holiday in Ireland, celebrating Saint Brigid.

I don't have Jackie for Halloween but she was here yesterday. We made a deal! I made Italian Beef Sandwiches; and in return ... she carved my pumpkin for me! This is Jack Skellington from "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
And of course my contribution was to push the sliders to the max!

Part 4 of Christmas Movie Theme Week: Nightmare Before Christmas
Okay, so maybe this isn't totally a christmas movie, it's sort of a combination Halloween and Christmas one but it's one of my favourites and it's centered around Christmas....Why do so many christmas movies have such dark characters? Weird....
I forgot how insanely busy life gets around the holidays, it seems as if every day's to-do list grows by the second and the minutes shrink away faster and faster. This weekend I'm one of 10 featured authors/illustrators at a local book fair which should be a lot of fun, although I'm stressing right now since our books have yet to arrive in the mail and we only have two days to get them in! My co-author and I are (supposed to be) revealing/debuting our christmas book and it would really suck if they didn't show up in time ...*crossing fingers*
