1986 Skoda 130 GLS

One of the first 130 GL's sold in The Netherlands, back then still as 130 GLS. In NL all the 130 GL's are registered erroneously as 130 GLS...There only were 120 GLS and 130 GL models.

This is amazing, I found this just looking through the internet

Now she has a face-up! Once I get more Mr. Super Clear spray I'll re-do it though as I'm not completely happy with this one... Can't wait til I find the perfect sparkling eyes for her as well!

Honestly this is one of my best drawings ever! This is my favorite rapper of all time and i loved drawing him. This took me about a hour and a half. also the sky is a little to blue bc the color i was going to use was perfect but was out of ink(comments below if i should post it).

A railroad, or should I say a paper railroad, that I have long been interested in is the Nicholas, Fayette & Greenbriar Railroad - a New York Central/Chesapeake & Ohio 50/50 venture into the coal fields of West Virginia. Long story short both roads felt they had rights to the area, and ended up doing a 50/50 joint venture. Much of the "C&O side" is still in tact today, as CSX still runs trains up from Meadow Creek, WV to Rainelle, WV and the mines beyond. However the "NYC side", which ran west to Swiss, WV has largely been pulled up except for this brief little section here at Swiss, WV. This at one point was the "end" of the NF&G for the C&O, and the "beginning" of it for the NYC.

Today KNWA trains traveling to and from the High Power Mountain loadout near Summersville, WV operate on this section of rail, albeit it is a handful of moves per week at absolute best. The trains take the ex-NYC West Virginia Secondary north from Dickinson Yard to Swiss, where they briefly run over the old NF&G for a few miles, before hanging a left at Peters Jct back onto all-NYC trackage. (The NF&G hangs a right at Peters Jct, and runs east to Rainelle).

This was something I have wanted to shoot for a long, long time and was thrilled to finally get it on 2-26-21. The little blue structure you see on the right is actually an old C&O phone booth, one of the last reminders this was once the land of NYC & C&O coal operations.

Scottish Vintage Bus Museum Lathalmond Dunfermline Open Weekend 21/08/2022

I painted this for a good friend of mine who is an NF fan! It was a lot of fun to do, I kind of want to do another one to keep for myself 😂 Just hoping my friend likes it!

This is my third NF drawing that I’ve done and I think it also looks pretty nice. The sweatshirt didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted but looks fine in the end

Woensdrecht, 19 October 1988.

K-3043 was one of the last in the original camouflage. On the tail it has the 'VUD' emblem (Vervroegde Uit Dienststelling, early retirement).

After retirement many Dutch NF-5's were flown to Woensdrecht airbase and put in storage. When the last Northrops were withdrawn from service in 1991, most of these went to Greece or Turkey. K-3043 stayed in the Netherlands and was dumped.

On this day in 1988 the base organized a photo opportunity for the jets.
