Netgear recommends running the memory test twice on new RAM before using it. Just hold the power button down until the 5th blink, the display wil read 25: Memory Test. Took about 3 hours to finish both cycles.

One of the drives in my NAS went on the fritz and for the longest time I couldn't figure out what was wrong - it kind of worked, but was really sluggish. And when I tried rebooting it just never came back on-line, which is why I had like a months break from posting.
Eventually Netgear helped me figure it out, and even sent me a replacement drive under my 3 year/$300 support contract - no additional cost to me - how sweet is that? Two thirds of the cost recuperated in the first week!
My first digital photo frame.
It runs an old P3-1000Mhz 14" screen laptop with a Netgear 802.11b wireless card and the Slikr Flikr screensaver.
It is going to my parents house and displays my photos on Flikr with the tg "for parents". It also has VNC installed on it so I can remotely manage it if/when needed.
