This old barn is barely standing...you can see the "foundation" as always, is starting to sag in the middle. It won't be too many years before this beauty has fallen. But I'm glad I got to photograph it before it's gone. I'm heading out that way again next summer so I'll take another shot or two of it then. Gorgeous landscape out here with the snow and frost.

Today (11.5.11) I got to shoot with Inaya. I had contacted her on Facebook as she'd worked with a couple of photographer friends of mine, and we finally got to shoot today. I can't say enough about this woman. Not only is she amazingly gorgeous, she is a bundle of energy that comes up with some great ideas herself at different locations.
...we are getting ready! Thanks soooo much to Sheree of Poppy Tree Lane for making two darling Apple hats and shipping them super fast to us from Australia in time to wear in NYC for BlytheCon! Also, thanks so much to Nikki of Luxie Lou for our NYC tops! We love these together! How awesome to have such great designs!!

From a resting place half way up to Tent Ridge, Spray lake, with Mt Nestor on the left, and left of that, Goat Mountain. Such a gorgeous scenic view....even if I didn't make it all the way to the top. It looked like a storm was moving in in the distance, but one never came.

...from an independent film we watched yesterday called "As Cool As I Am"...loved all of the music from this movie! I might be the only person who will like this film, but I do like it! :D I guess that you could definitely say that it IS a chick flick. :)

From my trip to Lake Louise, Banff, and Canmore today to see my Mum, sister, and relatives from the UK that were in town. Gorgeous day!!
...it's that time of year...September (sometimes it's August)...when my Canon 7D or my Canon lens decides to break down...this year, it's the Lens. Finally, last year, DH ordered a new camera and lens...with a special warranty...breathing a sigh of relief, after a frustrating few days! Someday, I will stop click-click-clicking...and my gear will love me for it. But for now, I have two of everything, and one of my lenses will head to repair!

(It's like the harmonica is crying for Sadie) Sadie's ears always perked up when I played it.
This is where I scattered Dad's ashes, It's where I'll scatter some of Sadie's ashes too. It's where mine will join them as well one day, what a view from all sides!
Been very therapeutic for me to go through all our memories this week, what a BIG life she had in her short dog years. Can't believe she made it into this picture here but so glad she did...what a special companion she was. I turned comments off, there's nothing left to say other then I wish I could have them both back...
...Neil Young changed back to her LIcca body...previously, she looked strange with her Nemo or whatever body because her mom CANNOT work with those bodies, but we digress....anyway...with her new body and her new hat from the sweetest Taan, Neil Young came outside and said: What the HECK! Where did 2013 go? She felt dizzy from the speed of all of those sunrises and sunsets...and she said: MY WISH for 2014? Let the time slow down just a bit for all of us!!!!
