8. un 9.jūlijā Varšavā norisinās NATO samits, kurā Latviju sanāksmē pārstāv aizsardzības ministrs Raimonds Bergmanis un Nacionālo bruņoto spēku (NBS) komandieris Raimonds Graube.
Samitā, kurš notiek divas dienas, aizsardzības nozares vadība piedalās darba sesijās, kurās tiek meklēti risinājumi NATO spējai pielāgoties pastāvošajai drošības videi, tostarp lemts par daudznacionālu bataljona līmeņa kaujas grupu nosūtīšanu uz Baltijas valstīm un Poliju. Tāpat aizsardzības nozares vadība piedalās darba sesijā, kurās diskutē par alianses iesaisti apmācības misijā "Resolute Support" Afganistānā un eiroatlantiskās sadarbības stiprināšanu.

Door de veiligheidsmaatregelen rond de NAVO-top wonen sommige bewoners in een afgezette zone. Ze gebruiken het hek om hun huis in of uit te gaan.
Op 24 en 25 juni 2025 is Nederland gastland voor de NAVO-top in het World Forum in Den Haag. Het is de eerste keer dat Nederland een NAVO-top organiseert. De organisatie van deze top is een kans om de positie als betrouwbare bondgenoot te versterken. Samen staan we sterker.

Because of the NATO Summit, some residents temporarily live in a restricted area. They use the fence to enter and exit their home.
On 24 and 25 June the Netherlands will be hosting the NATO Summit 2025 at the World Forum in The Hague. This is the first time a NATO summit is being held in the Netherlands. It is an opportunity for the Netherlands to bolster our position as a dependable ally. Stronger together.

Koning Willem-Alexander en Koningin Máxima ontvingen de regeringsleiders en staatshoofden van de NAVO-landen voor een informeel diner. De president van Oekraïne, de voorzitters van de Europese Raad en Europese Commissie en vier partnerlanden uit de Indo-Pacific (IP4) waren hierbij aanwezig.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted an informal dinner for the heads of state and government of the NATO countries. The president of Ukraine, the presidents of the European Council and European Commission and the Indo-Pacific four (IP4) partners were also invited to attend.

NATO kończy szczyt w Warszawie jako silniejsza organizacja. To było przełomowe spotkanie głów państw i szefów rządów. Zostały podjęte decyzje polityczne i wojskowe, które realnie wzmacniają wszystkie flanki Sojuszu. Sojusznicy zademonstrowali determinację i jedność, aby odpowiedzieć na zagrożenia ze wschodu i południa.
