I was visiting my daughter in Jackson Tennessee because she was having some minor surgery at the beginning of the week. By the end of last week Kelly was feeling much better and so we made the 1 hour trip from Jackson to Nashville to see the Christmas decorations and a magnificent Ice carving display.
The christmas tree was about 30 feet tall and contained full size wrapped presents and stuffed animals as ornaments and off course thousands of lights.

Nashville Warbler
A small songbird, compact with a round head, plump body and shortish tail. The bill is fine, straight, and pointed.
A mostly yellow warbler with a green back, gray head, and white eyering. The lower belly is white, sandwiched in between yellow breast and yellow undertail coverts; this is a distinctive pattern helpful for identifying the species from below. Females and young birds are similar but the colors are more washed out and pale.
Forages for insects at middle levels in outer edges of trees, among twigs and foliage. Often joins other species in mixed foraging flocks. The western populations often flick or wag their tails; this is less common in eastern birds.

Cumberland Park is East Nashville's newest park. It took shape along the east bank of the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville. The park sits just south of Nissan Stadium, between the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and the Gateway Bridge. The area was once a high industrial and factory based river bank that was easily accessible to ships. It also includes the former Nashville Bridge Co. building immediately adjacent to the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. Nashville's new riverfront development is 10 times the size of the existing Riverfront Park on the west side of the river. The park is just one stage of developing the riverfront and it cost around 17 million to create.
