A Day In The Life - I decided to take pictures, using the different techniques required, and record them as a story of one day in my life. I took pictures throughout my daily routines using the Freeze Motion, Blurred Action and Panned Action while also experimenting with shutter speeds, exposure, lighting, aperture, ISO, self timing, camera movement, subject movement, intentional and unintentional movement, etc. Also, I decided for some of my experimental motion shots to hold the camera facing behind me while I went on with my day, taking shots, at many various settings, every so often to catch a glimpse of a way I have never seen the things I pass by in my everyday life.

this are some of the sunrise I capture during my daily routine of waking up at 5am and driving down ocean ave in Asbury Park N.J. at The Jersey Shore on my way to go get coffee .... I'm so lucky !!

trying to add a little more spice to my daily routine

This building is Sangren Hall located between the flagpoles and Bernard Center on campus. It seems Doric because of the columns along the front. This is an engaging building to me because it's such a beautiful building on campus, as well as I spend a lot of my time here. So this building part of my daily routine, even just walking past it I enjoy it's beauty.

This photo shows a construction site, something which is a common site all throughout New York. It was meant to show part of my daily routine throughout the city, or the views of a New Yorker within different locations in the city

The @morganstreetfoodhall just opened in downtown #Raleigh in August, but my daily routine already takes me there 2-3 times a week. Every time I go, I discover something new to try! I really love the feel of the space, and enjoy the chance to linger a bit and chat with friends. There is seating inside and out, and the international theme of the food vendors gives the food hall its metropolitan personality. ๐Ÿ“ท: @wakeingup / on Instagram www.instagram.com/p/BozmOnvHb0U/

I wake up every morning and the first thing I do is to look out my window. It's just part of my daily routine nowadays. This is typically what I would see when I look out. Sure there might be gray clouds, rain, and even pure darkness sometimes, but on a beautiful day like this, this is what it looks like.

One of my daily routines was walking to a nearby wat. In the wat was a pretty lake area with a (fairly) tree covered path around it. This shot is of an area of the lake that was filled with catfish as large as your leg. Each day I'd buy food and a coke. I never tired of the feeding frenzy.

Day #7:

stop waiting, nothing will come. in life you need to work and earn for it.

Today, man this was such a bizarre day. Everything seemed out of place because I didn't do my daily routine, I like that though (: It was mostly based on this Recitation Contest, 9 contestants I must say all of us were good. Class competition-School wide-Regionals-State-Nationals. I WON! I won 100 Dollars what-what! I was so stunned, it honestly felt like a dream. I've never done that kind of stuff before, went on stage, & actually won something. I'm making it to nationals, I'm in for that 20G's! :D It was a good day.

Summer of 2008 at my uncle's

empire-station I could explore the things that I have always dreamed of:

feed, chase and catch all the available domestic feathered birds in the coupe and hold each of them one at a time, made me feel exited and the neighbours alert at my activity as my daily routine for about two weeks.

After exploring different aspects of viewpoints in photography, I came to realise that I was most interested in point-of-view photography. I looked at photographer Timur Zhansultanov and his series โ€˜In My Own Eyesโ€™. I liked how he used his camera to give the audience a viewpoint of his own life and the activities he did. I like this image in particular because of how the image has a shallow focus. I deliberately did this to focus on how during that moment in time, my eyes were concentrating on the remote only and not the TV. I believe this is an effective way to show the audience my own viewpoint on life and therefore give them an insight into my daily routine.

triangular lighting with head shot- my central theme being my daily routine, this left the head shot as a timed picture of myself, since I am a central part to my daily routine

Oh, how I love tea! Part of my daily routine. I can't start my day without it or end without a cup. Of course, having two cups a day risks many bathroom trips.

My daily routine happens to intersect the suns cycle, and I can shoot sunrises on the way to work.
