Kinetic (Tweed Heads) Volvo B7RLE / Bustech "VST" (MkII) no. 784 is seen just outside the Gold Coast Turf Club after running a shuttle from Coolangatta for the Magic Millions event.
This was the first, and so far the only time, that I have gotten lost while I've had passengers on.
For those familiar with the Gold Coast, this shuttle's last pick up is in Surfers Paradise. You then cut across Chevron Island and turn left onto Bundall Road. According to the left and rights I was given, and the diagram of the venue, I was under the impression that you continue along Bundall Road past the northern entrance and turn right onto Ashmore Road, entering via the southern entrance. The issue here, is that you cannot turn right from Bundall Road onto Ashmore Road travelling south, so I found this out the hard way. Safe to say a couple of choice words were silently muttered at that moment.
The issue then became working out which street I could safely turn around in, as I knew where I had to be, while making sure I wasn't being bum-steered by passengers meaning well. Thankfully OCC was rather helpful and the solution was both easy and quick, and I was back on my way within five or so minutes.
It had turned out that the driver of the next service behind me, who I had told via radio to disregard his papers, was informed prior to leaving the depot; a privilege I would have loved to enjoy!

Sprich von deiner Mutter! Ein alternativer Muttertag

The rural Stubaitalbahn (STB) is now integrated with the Innsbruck urban tram (IVB) network and is operated by modern low-floor Flexity Outlook trams supplied by Bombardier. The 18-km line twists is way around the Stubai Valley to the terminus at Fulpmes, passing through the appealingly-named villages of Mutters and Natters. An Innsbruck-bound service is seen here departing from Natters.
