Kalau dalam posting yang lepas, I wrote about perbelanjaan after I have a baby, in this posting, I would like to highlight about perbelanjaan before I have a baby, maksud I waktu pregnant and preparation before baby lahir...
Starting with the first check up at 5weeks pregnant, memang banyak pakai duit... Kalau kat sini, hospital kerajaan atau klinik swasta, tak ada beza pun! The amount to pay is exactly same, sama laa juga layanan, servis dan segalanya adalah sama. Sedikit saja bezanya ialah waktu menunggu di klinik swasta sedikit singkat berbanding hospital. Dan lagi, seperti juga Malaysia, jika kelahiran bayi ada komplikasi, pasti dirujuk dengan hospital memandangkan kelengkapan alat di hospital biasanya lebih sempurna... Di Jepun, semua orang perlu ada insuran kesihatan. Kalau ke klinik/hospital, tunjukkan kad insuran, then masa nak bayar nanti sejumlah amount akan dipotong, ditanggung oleh insuran, but still kena bayar sedikit duit sendiri laa... So, kesimpulannya setiap kali check up, memang kena keluar duit sendiri. Di sini pulak, supplement tak diberi, pandai2 laa beli sendiri. Waktu minggu ke-14 gitu, akan diberi acid folic pills untuk tempoh 2minggu, that's all! Kat tempat I yang boleh di consider as "kampung" ni, merata2 pharmacy I cari maternity multivitamin tapi tak jumpa yang halal, kat internet pun tak ada, last sekali I beli asing2, jenuh nak telan sehari more than 7 pills. Next time kalau pregnant I mesti beli siap2 dari Malaysia, serik dah kena telan pil banyak2 setiap hari! So, bayangkan laa berapa duit habis untuk supplement saja!
Masa pregnancy masuk minggu ke-20 I dah mula pakai maternity clothes, yang beli kat sini, subhanallah, mahalnya... I cuma beli sikit2 saja ikut keperluan dan keutamaan, hehe.
Untuk preparation barang baby, tak buat apa2 selain survey saja. Hingga baby dah 24weeks gitu, baru laa I beli dalam 10pasang baju, itu saja! Balik Malaysia baru laa shopping, itu pun tak beli apa sangat pun, yang rasa penting saja dibeli. RM500 jugak melayang. Stroller and car seat myLove beli di Jepun. Baby cot pun we all tak prepare. Tapi, one thing yang I menyesal sampai sekarang ialah sebab berdegil tak nak beli buaian. Kat Jepun tak ada, huwaaa... Rafiqh ni sampai sekarang tidur masih atas riba I, kadang2 saja tidur bawah, tapi malam pandai pulak tidur bawah... Asal nak tidur jer cari mama... Kalau ada buaian, at least boleh laa I buat kerja masa dia tidur, dan myLove boleh buaikan bila dia ada... Ini jadi pengajaran buat I, for next baby, better sediakan buaian laa...

$10 feeds one young rhino orphan for a day, including skim milk powder, glucose, multivitamins, rice and cubes.
$25 provides patrol rations -- mealie meal, sugar beans, cooking oil, salt, sugar, tea and soap -- for a rhino monitor for an entire month. (These basic commodities have become so difficult to find in Zimbabwe that they must be imported from South Africa.)
$50 feeds all five calves currently under our care (three young calves and two older ones) for one day, including time and transport required to collect fresh browse for the older calves.
$100 covers monitoring costs (staff and equipment) for a “crucial” rhino sighting. Our staff aim to find and identify each rhino in the Lowveld on a regular basis to help monitor and protect the population. “Crucial" sightings are of rhinos that have taken even more effort to find than usual, perhaps new-born calves that haven’t yet been recorded, or injured rhinos that need veterinary treatment.

Being drained of all my resources, they have now practically weaponized #food and #water and turned those into a persistent life threatening and existential threat to me which I have been forced to deal with on a daily basis for so many months now with no end in sight.
I have also been without Multivitamins for more than two weeks now. All in all, they have created the perfect conditions for my death by starvation.
I fear if the situation goes on like this I might not even make it alive into the next week.
This is what vulnerable Refugees get when they go and seek help from the so-called authorities.

I bought women's multivitamins at Target last month. I told Ammon that they didn't have any for men. He said, "Oh, those are just called multivitamins."
The number of days of my 3rd #HungerStrike outside the #UNHCR office in Athens, Greece is now standing at 261-days. Yet my dire situation still remains unresolved and unattended.
I have now been without cash for over a month and unable even to get myself safe drinking water. Being drained of all my resources, they have now practically weaponized #food and #water and turned those into a persistent life threatening and existential threat to me which I have been forced to deal with on a daily basis for so many months now with no end in sight.
