Of all the Marvel SDCC Phase 4 announcements, Doctor Strange 2 is easily the movie I am most excited for so I had to make a quick edit finally featuring the iconic pose!
Another view of one of the "Infinity Rooms" at the Tate Modern, London. I'm still trying to figure this one out!

Super buff Adam West from McFarlane's Multiverse series. Aside from the steroid body it's quite a nice figure,
This is another shot of the Multiverse light sculpture by Leo Villareal. It is currently on display at the moving walkway at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. The 40,000 light emitting diodes are constantly changing patterns as you move down the walkway between the East and West Gallery.

After our 5 day stint in the wilderness of the Ben Alder mountains, we booked ourselves into the relative luxury of the Tarbet Hotel at Tarbet on the Bonnie, Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. During our three days stay we climbed Beinn Narnain, Beinn Ime and Ben Vane in the Arrochar Alps and Stob Binnein and Ben More of Crianlarich. The hills in the Scottish Highlands during Autumn have the most wonderfully colourful grasses, ranging through greens, yellows, reds, purples and browns. Combined with the roar of the red deer stag, it makes for some very memorable wilderness experiences.
In summary, during our Autumn week in the North of England and the Scottish Highlands we completed 23,000 feet of ascent / 83 miles of hillwalking.
Update 08/22/2010: This is now my highest viewed picture - thank you, everyone for stopping by! I cannot believe I got almost 6,000 views today, mostly from a blog linking to this picture.
Update: Thank you for helping me get this image on explore - it means a lot to me! Highest Ranking: #269!

Taking pictures of the Multiverse Light Sculpture by Leo Villareal is bittersweet. My father and I already loved shooting this walkway and we were anxiously waiting for the 42,000 LED installation to go live. Unfortunately, everytime we visited last semester (when it was supposedly working), the lights weren't turned on.
So, visiting the light sculpture after it seems like every D.C. photographer had been there was frustrating, but no one has shot the Multiverse with a fisheye until now, so it feels pretty sweet knowing my father and I could add something unique to the subject.
What if lenses are portals in the Multiverse? It reflects lights, it lets light through. It even changes the original light wave by miniature particles (or species) on and in it. Even scratches somehow influence your image.
But what if other Universes from time to time appear in our images? Maybe it's not me, or she. It might be better me, or better other, our good parts, our more conscious manifestations...
Or even the worst version of mine, who does a lot of bad things, but at the same time occasionally captures the same stuff that I did... Who knows, but this little reflection of me is using your dream cam with your dream lens... or it may be just a slightly different set up depending on condition on this particular Universe...
It can be everything. Perhaps someone from the other end similarly is looking at his reflection in this old glass and thinking about multiverses and various manifestations of self...
Have a relaxing Sunday dear friends! :-)
