multiplex image made from nine images.
being a macro composite i had to adjust focus for each one of the nine separate images to get the entire creature in focus (mostly). the lens i used is the cheap Olympus kit zoom lens, the 14-42mm reversed with a reversing ring. magnification and fine focussing is done by adjusting the zoom ring and moving the camera to and from the subject. i'm not sure what the magnification is but it's at least than 1:1 for these images. as there is no electronic connection between the lens and camera there's no aperture control so the aperture is fully open.
the photos were then thrown into photoshop elements and put together in the Photomerge app of the program.
