Slowly the signs are appearing, the colourful season that is autumn, is upon us.

Each season has its own colour-palette, spring with the fresh and pastel, summer with the rich and warm tones, autumn with russet and more ‘spent’ hues and then winter, the cool and more stark and dark colours.

I love each one for these particular reasons.

The apples start falling from the trees, as do the nuts.

Something I needed to try out.

As Dad pointed out, the multicolour bands are reminiscent of les ceintures fléchées. Not related, but reminiscent nonetheless!

Made with swarovski elements (ss39) with multicolour stones.

Took a few shots to get them both "heads up" as they were preening constantly...I guess it takes some high maintenance to look that good ;-)
