Monarch Capital Partners Group is a full-service asset-management and investment banking firm that specializes in identifying small- and micro-cap investment opportunities with substantial emerging-growth potential.
The initial investment we make with our clients – whether they are individual, institutional or corporate – is always the same. It is the investment of time. It is the first brick laid in the foundation of every productive relationship we build. We take the time to ask the right questions and listen carefully to the answers to ensure that we respond with customized, targeted advice. It is one of the many ways we demonstrate our unwavering commitment to personalized service.
Rather than expecting new clients to make a blind leap of faith, Monarch Capital builds trust organically. The principals of our firm regularly invest their own money in the same independently analyzed, emerging-growth investments we make for our individual and institutional clients. This keeps our interests aligned with those of our clients. By taking a vested interest in our clients’ success, we are literally tying our fortunes to theirs. Our integrity is just as evident with our corporate Investment Banking clients. We never take our clients’ trust for granted, nor do we rest on the laurels of our past successes. Instead, we take each new day as it comes, always poised to seize new investment opportunities as they emerge and mitigate risks as they arise.
Investment markets are – by definition and by nature – dynamic and reactionary. The only constant is change. On any given day, economic experts and financial pundits can be heard loudly and authoritatively expressing differing opinions and contradictory recommendations. In this sea of confusion, Monarch Capital remains a harbor of sanity. Our long-term, value-oriented investment approach and deep understanding of market behavior help us to maintain our focus, not on the rough seas we may encounter along the way, but on reaching our clients’ ultimate financial and investment goals.

SELECTV KWHY TV 22 ADD BY RALPH6343 (4RETROCHANNELNETWORK)
SelecTV was a subscription (Pay TV) television service formed in 1976, and first broadcasting in 1978 [1] The service focused entirely on televising movies, and ended in 1991. The service originally allowed subscribers to pay only for programs "selected" during the month, with the first several minutes free (the decoder box included a phone hook-up to transmit information back to the billing office). It later went to a flat-fee basis.
SelecTV was transmitted via scrambled signal from a local UHF television station. A decoder box was required to unscramble the signal and permit normal viewing. SelecTV was available in at least three markets: in Milwaukee on WCGV, channel 24 (now MyNetworkTV), KWHY channel 22 in Los Angeles (now a Spanish-language independent), and WWSG channel 57 in Philadelphia (now CW affiliate WPSG). On WWSG, the service utilized the gated-pulse scrambling technique for the video and using technology that would later be used to enable Multichannel television sound moved the audio to a different subcarrier, freeing the standard audio channel for use as a "barker" (sales promotion) channel. In 1984, New Jersey based WHT began offering SelecTV on its affiliated television stations after it stopped programming its own network, but the affiliation with SelecTV would not last long, as within a year, WHT ceased operations. This occurred following a massive financial collapse, as a result of a majority of their subscribers defecting to cable television services which offered more channels, including pay-tv services like HBO and Showtime.
In 1983, the service went national via satellite and was later purchased by Starion Entertainment, which eventually dropped the SelecTV branding in the late 1980s and renamed it Starion Premiere Cinema. The service ceased operations in 1991.
Unlike rival service ONTV, SelecTV specialized in airing movies and did not air sports events. Foreign films were often shown in dubbed and subtitled versions, indicated in the monthly programming guide. In the early '80s, the Los Angeles affiliate simulcast some shows from Z Channel. During Oscar season in the Los Angeles market regular programming would often be preempted for special "Academy Consideration" screenings of films in contention for Oscar nominations. By 1985 (if not earlier), SelecTV aired softcore versions of pornographic films in their "Adult Theater" programming block.
Another thing making the channel unique was their policy of screening R-rated movies throughout the broadcast day, at a time when other pay services restricted R-rated content until after 8pm. SelecTV also transmitted its C-band satellite "in the clear" (unscrambled) for a longer time than rivals HBO and Showtime.
By 1984, OnTV and SelecTV merged, and some sports were broadcast on the combined service. Most of those events were simulcast from Prime Ticket, which was then a new regional sports network.
In 1986, SelecTV produced one original, non-sports series, a half-hour comedy, Channel K. [2] The title of the series was chosen to mock one of SelecTV’s early competitors, Z Channel. Each half-hour episode was composed of shorter segments, averaging five minutes, spoofing television programming. There were two comedy spin-offs from Channel K, both also airing in 1986, presented in ten minute segments in order to be used when fill time was needed between movies. The first was Bachelor Pad, where a self-proclaimed ladies man gave not-so-helpful tips to single men looking to be more successful at dating women. The second, Handy Dan, gave do-it-yourself lessons that always led to disaster. In 1987, Channel K returned to the network briefly with the new title, Son of Channel K. Three VHS volumes, including episodes of both Channel K and Son of Channel K, and segments of Bachelor Pad and Handy Dan, were released to the Home Video market in 1989 and 1990, as the SelecTV network, eroded away by the advancement of cable TV, went dark.[3]

Long before Hollywood popularised the notion of the matrix and the resistance against it, VNS Matrix infiltrated the discourse of virtual computer systems like a virus with critical cyber erotics aimed at sabotaging “the databanks of Big Daddy Mainframe”. Through explicit visual material, political texts such as the Cyberfeminist Manifesto for the 21st Century (1991) and the multichannel “computer game” All New Gen they created a science fiction scenario, a gendered vision of an “unmanned” future. Fighting for “data liberation” with “G-Slime” shooting from the clitoris – the alledged direct line to the matrix – the “DNA sluts” of this fiction sowed the seeds of a “New World disorder,” where phallic logic would no longer apply. Is this imagined future now our present? Or is the resistance to the masculine mythology and rationales dominating technological culture more needed than ever?

The NEW HOBO MX Multi-Channel data loggers use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to transmit indoor monitoring data to mobile devices using Onset's free HOBOmobile app. The HOBO Analog/Temperature/Relative Humidity(RH)/Light data logger and the HOBO 4-Channel Analog data logger support new Self-Describing (SD) sensors, which automatically communicate configuration information to the loggers, making deployment fast and easy.
Key Advantages:
•Convenient wireless setup and easy data offload via BLE
•Highly-accurate measurements and large memory
•Fast deployment using optional SD sensors with automatic configuration
•Wide range of measurements from compatibility with existing sensors
•Option to add the MX Gateway for near real-time, remote access to data in cloud-based HOBOlink software
A 3D surface rendered image of a living human fibroblast cultured on a glass slide. It shows fluorescence from dyes which highlight the cell's nucleus (in blue) and the mitochondria of the cell (more active ones in red, lower activity ones in green). The colours are overlaid on a rendering of the transmitted light image (ie, normal microscope image), which shows the cells shape and the nice sticky points by which it has attached itself to the glass.
The cell isn't quite the normal shape of a classical fibroblast as it has been induced into an old age state.
For scaling, the whole image is about 140 x 100 micrometers, making it quite a large cell, which is what happens as cells get older.
Taken with a Leica DM5500 invert using a 63x 1.4NA objective and captured as a multichannel z stack with a Leica DF360FX camera. Image was subsequently deconvolved and rendered in Huygens (SVI), and finally exported as a jpeg in ImageJ.

using 24db/oct filters for highpass and lowpass on my new speakers. this crossover (middle box) lets you configure so many things! its spdif-in (digital audio) and has pro-level analog XLR outputs for the 4 channels (left hight, left low, right high, right low).
the top box is my own design and build, its a multichannel preamp and input selector.
the bottom box is an spdif in (and out) equalizer. not necessary but lets me do slighly more fancy corrections than the crossover box. both the bottom 2 boxes are by behringer.

Based loosely on Ganzfeld experiments (a technique used in parapsychology in the 1970s as a way of invoking telepathy), Color Field Immersion involves masking the audience with semi-transparent blindfolds onto which light projections are mapped. Similar to sensory deprivation, Color Field Immersion provides perceptual deprivation, replacing the entirety of each audience member’s visual field with washes of color, line, and movement – often inducing hallucinations as the brain seeks to replace lost stimuli. Flipping the traditional performer-audience relationship, the internalized experience becomes the location of the performance. Combined with rich, textural soundscapes, Color Field Immersion creates a deeply immersive perceptual architecture of sound and vision.
Doron Sadja is an American artist, composer, and curator whose work explores modes of perception and the experience of sound, light, and space. Working primarily with multichannel spatialized sound – combining pristine electronics with lush romantic synthesizers, extreme frequencies, dense noise, and computer-enhanced acoustic instruments, Sadja creates post-human, hyper-emotive sonic architecture. Although each of Sadja’s works are striking in their singular and focused approach, his output is diverse: spanning everything from immersive multichannel sound pieces to sexually provacative performance / installation works, and stroboscopic smoke, mirror, laser, and projection shows. Doron has published music on 12k, ATAK, and Shinkoyo records, and has performed/exhibited at PS1 MoMa, Miami MOCA, D’amelio Terras Gallery, Cleveland Museum of Art, Issue Project Room, and Roulette amongst others. Sadja co-founded Shinkoyo Records and the West Nile performing arts venue in Brooklyn (RIP), and has curated various new music/sound festivals around NYC, including the multichannel SOUNDCORRIDORS Festival, Easy Not Easy, John Cage Musicircus, and more.
