On my way back into Bellingham, I noticed one little improvement along a small part of Lakeway Drive.
On much of that crowded street, I ride slowly on the sidewalk.
There is a bad stretch of Lakeway where eastbound bicyclists are invited to veer off onto Old Lakeway. It only goes a little ways and part of the sidewalk was narrow as it branched off that way.
Since I was last out that way (I don't ride out Lakeway often) they widened a section of the sidewalk to more of a multiuse path.

This part of the Cookstown Ontario section of the Trans Canada Trail looks like it is heading into the rugged wilderness. It wasn`t rugged but you really felt like you were in natural surroundings though. It was a great trail experience.

As I am hiking along the Cookstown Ontario section of the Trans Canada Trail I notice an entrance to a ``laneway```of trees ahead. It really surprised me how the natural beauty of the trail was so diverse. I enjoyed every moment of my Cookstown Ontario Trans Canada Trail experience.
