From the appearance, I'd say that this erosion blanket is Terrablock which was precast for a time in Maple, Ontario. The firm was brought down by warranty claims on precast noise fencing, which spalled and failed prematurely.

Located in Wake County 10 miles northwest of downtown Raleigh, William B. Umstead State Park is a cherished retreat from bustling urban life. The park features an extensive network of hiking and multiuse trails, as well as three manmade lakes and their tributaries that are perfect for fishing. Both park entrances offer picnic shelters, and Crabtree Creek offers camping areas. This is a multi-use trail, with motorized vehicles permitted. The ATV and trail bikers were very considerate, slowing down as they passed. One young trail biker, trying to keep up with his friends on the first pass, stopped on his return trip to apologize for not slowing down more the first time. Quinessential Canadian politeness.

Jerrycons are used to fetch water everywhere-but not after they have been used for Parafin-Kerosine, cooking oil, or other liquids.

It is difficult to take a photo in Uganda without having a yellow jerrycon (jellycon) in the frame to add some yellow flare. Multiuse items are normally a good thing-but it is difficult to clean these properly to fetch water (or find the time to do so).
