Kate Pace Way, leaving North Bay and arriving at Callander. In my opinion the last three or four kilometers of the trail as it travels south of North Bay is the most beautiful and enjoyable.

A sculpture located in a small park along the Thames River in London Ontario. This park is within walking distance of downtown and is located on the multiuse trail that runs the length of the river. Since it is October the flower garden around the sculpture is nothing but faded blooms. It would have been very colourful in summer.
Just a small stretch of the 105-kilometre Meewasin Trail network that runs through Saskatoon. June 2022.
(l-r) Russel Glover (Chair of the Solitary Islands Marine Park Advisory Committee), then-Minister Verity Firth and Bob Edgar (Solitary Islands Underwater Research Group), cutting a caake to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Solitary Islands Marine Park.
Long before the introduction of the Marine Parks Act this area was recognised by locals for its conservation significance many of whom worked hard to see this important part of the NSW coastline protected.
As part of the 10 year anniversary is a timely occasion to acknowledge the achievements of the community especially the Solitary Islands Underwater Research Group (SURG) which has be active for over 21 years.
SURG was instrumental in identifying the underwater values of the Coffs Harbour region in the late 1980s’ and early 1990’s and subsequent inclusion of the area in the marine park boundaries still in place today.
Members have dedicated thousands of voluntary hours to marine conservation and
research since its foundation.
Projects have included identifying sea floor community structure around the five major islands, the development of an underwater trail at North Solitary Island, monitoring of reef health and the “Solitary Islands Marine Park Marine Species Photo Inventory” which has been included in the SIMP school education kit for the benefit of hundreds of school children in NSW.

In the distance you can a bridge that was one of the many nice features on the Cookstown Ontario section of the Trans Canada Trail. The trails also traveled beside a countryside that would peek out in the background after strolling in the natural surroundings on the trail.

This section of the Trans Canada Trail near Cookstown Ontario starts after crossing a sideroad. Amazingly, each section of the trail is different from the next. There were many great natural features along the trail that kept your anticipation and enjoyment at a high level.

CÚPULA DEL MILENIO
The ‘Cupula’ is a landmark on the Millennium Square in Valladolid, a city in the north west of Spain. Because of the spherical shape, natural daylight swirls into the space. At night the ’Cupula’ changes into an adjustable lantern which gives character to the square.
The ’Cupula’ is constructed as a spherical roof, 45m in diameter, built from different polygons of dithis structure, 84 different cushions are placed. Each cushion is assembled from 3 layers ETFE with different prints.
The Millennium Dome, is a new space in Valladolid next to the river Pisuerga, with multiple options in regard to the activities that can be held in its interior, such as concerts, conferences, exhibitions, shows and advertising and sports events. This dome covers the pavilion with a surface of almost 1,700 m² and has underground parking for 402 vehicles, a cycle lane and a restaurant.
This polyvalent space with an architecture that is as striking as it is eye-catching was air conditioned by Imtech with a system comprising two heat pumps that produce cold or hot water, used by a further two air conditioners to cool or heat the air impelled into the facility via a network of nozzles located in the perimeter.
The 1st Energy Efficiency Awards (A3e) organised by the Association of Energy Efficiency Enterprises (A3e) and the El Instalador publisher with the collaboration of IDEA, have decided to award first prize in the Category of Best Energy Efficiency Action 2012 to Valladolid City Hall for the project of the Millennium Plaza that houses this structure.
