This is a real coffee mug, not one of those model cups you see so often, starving themselves, using that fake coffee stuff that looks better on film. If you look closely you'll see the dribble stains from it's work, proud to hold it's coffee, not caring that the heat will fade it's mechanically perfectly printed facade. Not for this mug - hand painted by the way, so real, and spectacular, as the saying goes.
Also, it has a mustache on it.
16 February: I have new coffee beans from a different coffee roaster, a blend that promised to taste of tobacco and dark chocolate, and is satisfyingly dark and complex in flavour. The red mug that the husband bought from home work is one of my favourites, a nice size and a cheery colour.

Underneath, it reads "Made in England" and nothing else. We use it for toothbrushes now.
I finally found a mug on eBay like the one I owned in the early 70s. This one is in pristine condition and the coffee tastes great. Designed by John Clappison for Hornsea Pottery.
So whatcha think so far partner? I hope you like it! The blue writing will be embroidered. It's quite large though... 6 x 11... i know :( But I tried really hard to get it small!!! Just too many cute elves and santas and reindeer!

Considering my brain chemistry this week, this seems an appropriate mug to drink out of this morning.
