Where I used to work if you happened to leave your mug out on view it often went walkies resulting in regular email circulars to the company from people trying to reclaim their beloved mugs. This practice was banned by senior management so to defend against the loss of my mug I took a picture of it so that it could be printed and stuck up with a big notice. A great use of company resources I reckon!
Mean Mugging - To continue with the Bobcat photo dump, here is one of a Bobcat pulling off the quintessential felid paw raise. While this Bobcat looks intimidating, she walked by me as if I were a tree or shrub that didn't even exist. A few memorable Bobcats I have photographed in the past have also behaved like this around me; walking by me as if I wasn't even there. I'm very grateful to have found a young one the past few years that continues this behavior - always nice to be able to watch an animal and document its natural behaviors in such a way. The animal eye autofocus and 20 fps electronic shutter really pulled through here in two ways where DSLRs failed me in the past:
1. Up close, I'd often miss focus on the eye as I wouldn't be able to move the focus point fast enough, resulting in frustrating images with focus on the ear, or rear leg in these direct walking sequences.
2. Because of the slower frame rate I'd miss the best pose in the sequence, which was incredibly frustrating. It can be a bit of a pain to sort through hundreds of thousands of images, but it is awesome to know that the one pose I want is 100% in there somewhere.

Phill bought me a new lens for my birthday for a camera he bought me a couple of years ago which I wasn't getting on with. Anyway I had taken today of work to go to the local wildlife park to try it out. Unfortunately, still not well enough to go traipsing about so it will have to wait for another day. I have either been in bed resting or sitting in front of the TV binge watching The Crown. Anyway, here is Ray looking as smug as you like to cheer us all up (I am say that in my best Queen Elizabeth voice *wink*)

The Moomins (Swedish: Mumintroll) are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Swedish-speaking Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish by Schildts in Finland. They are a family of white, round fairy tale characters with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses. However, despite this resemblance, the Moomin family are trolls. The family live in their house in Moominvalley, though in the past, their temporary residences have included a lighthouse and a theatre. They have had many adventures along with their various friends.

Hello amazing Flickr people !!!
So today is an yellow day at color my world daily Group (so put your sunglasses on !! Bold colors ahead !!).
At the fabulous *ღღ* Cosas de casa *ღღ Group the theme is: mugs.
I must say I’m not a mug person. Honestly, I can drink gracefully almost out of anything (yes, I’m a lady for sure !! Even while chugging a bottle of gin !)). I never buy decorative mugs, but people somehow think that I need decorative mugs very badly. This year alone I got at least 3 sets of very cute decorative mugs to enjoy my coffee in a very stylish way. On the other hand, I’m also a hoarder so maybe people are only regifting the decorative mugs they got and don’t like ….
Well we will never know, and I can live with that…
Today let me show you a very, very adorable set of decorative mugs. They are rather tiny, so I imagine perfect for serving an expresso coffee…and impress your guests. But wait, we are in lockdown… no guests. So maybe I should impress my husband and serve him a black expresso in one of these cute mugs? I think he will be impressed ;-) .
Or… I will use my tiny mug in my video meeting!! I will hold my mug with one finger in the air, like a very sophisticated and serious person…. My coworkers will be sooooo jealous! I will pretend those mugs are my family long lost heirloom and they are priceless… I will never, ever exchange them … not even for toilet paper, flour or even 1kg of Quick-Rise instant yeast. Apparently, you cannot find quick-rise instant yeast in any grocery store in Montreal Census Metropolitan Area …. I personally never used Quick-Rise instant yeast in my life but now that I know I cannot have it, next time I see it I will grab as much as I can lol. Do you think that is why we have a toilet paper shortage ?
So who use Quick-Rise instant yeast and what you do with it ??? Keep in mind: I'M NOT a cordon bleu
