I somehow feel there is a better and more apt title for this photo. But for the time being, Moving Souls it will be...
Our last night before all my furiniture was picked up. We decided we would use my bed frame, so we spent the evening disassembling Colin's old bed and storing it away. We were clearly resting here.
After several days of moving from a house across the street and two doors up, using handtrucks, golf carts, and one load with a moving van, my brand new neighbors trimmed their trees along the driveway (not shown here).
The chowhounds began to arrive in the evening to strip the branches of the freshly cut leaves. I'm sure that the neighbor will be henceforth "marked" as a hospitable site.
Eventually, there were about a dozen, who hung around for quite a while until they finally migrated next door to visit the lady who frequently puts out corn for them.
I thought that putting out corn was the time honored tradition of Texas deer hunters, but I've never seen the lady trying to shoot one!
