Stephan Frontenac sitting at his table, he sees Beth come up to his dock in a small motor boat driven by someone else. He sees her wave the boat away and start walking towards his home. He watches her dancers grace, those composed precise and trained movements that made him fall in love with her. He smiles and nods in her direction, waiting for her to come closer before he speaks.

beth Latynina steps carefully onto the dock as dismissing the driver would just take an moment to look around. Slight wrinkle of nose to the smell of the swamp reminding her of years past tredging around in the sewers with Stephan. Still looking as young and beautiful as ever. Would walk over to where she sees her husbamd sitting. Lips drawn into an smile as speaks," so this is where you have been hiding lately?.."

Stephan Frontenac stands up and walks over to beth, taking her hands in his and saying “I thought it was time for me to leave the beaches for a back bayou somewhere.” He looks around finding the smell of decay in the swamp rather pleasant and says with a content smile “With Libby in Midian, this seemed like a logical choice.”

beth Latynina: slender hands curl within your own as just laughs," yes and am surprised you did not do it long ago.." stepping in closer to you bringing with her the coying scent of perfume you love so much. Body shifts as lips part pressing to your in an lingering kiss," Whispering then," well i thought it wise to come and check up on you both..."

[stephan Frontenac looks around and notices his complet lack of a sofa. He shrugs a little to himself and says "I'm happy to see you love, you always make my whole body tingle in happiness when I see you, especially when it's been too long."

[ beth Latynina shifts curling along your side one hand resting to your chest." so tell me what our daughter has been up too? She has yet to return my phone calls.."

[ Stephan Frontenac had been debating which bad news to tell Beth first, about Libby or Ashagi, but thankfully she directed the conversation. He frowns a little at her question and just blurts it out "It's been hard on her, she's had to grow up fast. She was raped a few weeks ago and she's made enemies with the Noble family somehow. I'm not unconvinced the two are unrelated. Cute little Phoebe Noble, Cait's daughter if you remember her, turned into more of a monster then her father."

beth latynina blinks as had been so afraid of that," I was so hoping she would not have to go though that. Physically she is alright? There was no permanate damage?.." frowning when you speak of Cait's daughter." is such an shame. As emember she was always so sweet and shy everytime I met her." sighs," well Libby is smart and strong. You have someone watching her?"

This is probably the most common hawk in North America. Red-tailed Hawks soar above open fields, slowly turning circles on their broad, rounded wings. Other times you’ll see them atop telephone poles, eyes fixed on the ground to catch the movements of a vole or a rabbit.

Dance is art. The pair dance is very special. You walk together interacting through glances, touches, and movements, creating an ornament and harmony to the universe's music.

For 3 minutes of dancing, you can live a whole life, where there will be joy and sadness, love and hate, tender romance and fighting spirit. A pair dance is possible only on mutual support and when both partners stand firmly on their feet.

But more importantly - Trust. Only then can you dance freely, with all the passion in your feelings for your partner.

The operation here involves several movements , after first using the wye at their yard to turn the train, they back all the way down past the diamond at the old station , then go back through the yard to diverge to the interchange tracks of the local CSX, CN yard interchange , and Effingham RR . On this day cars were delivered to all three Railroads .

Norfolk Southern job A80 and CSX job Y201 work to coordinate their movements in the small yard next to the Bunge facility on the Decatur River Branch. A80 is making the last of its moves here and will soon run west to switch the Alabama Farmer's CO-OP feed mill, allowing Y201 to finish up their work.

Y201 is one of two CSX jobs that work the branch out of the company's Oakworth Yard near downtown Decatur (the other being Y103). A80 is based out of the Norfolk Southern's Decatur Yard on the west side of town. I've been lucky to catch them working during daylight hours on two of my past three trips to Decatur, as it is rare for them to work the River Branch during daylight hours.

The lion's mane is the most recognisable feature of the species. It starts growing when lions are about a year old. Mane colour varies and darkens with age; research shows its colour and size are influenced by environmental factors such as average ambient temperature. Mane length apparently signals fighting success in male–male relationships; darker-maned individuals may have longer reproductive lives and higher offspring survival, although they suffer in the hottest months of the year.

When resting, lion socialisation occurs through a number of behaviours; the animal's expressive movements are highly developed. The most common peaceful, tactile gestures are head rubbing and social licking. Head rubbing – the nuzzling of the forehead, face and neck against another lion – appears to be a form of greeting and is seen often after an animal has been apart from others or after a fight or confrontation. Males tend to rub other males, while cubs and females rub females. Social licking often occurs in tandem with head rubbing; it is generally mutual and the recipient appears to express pleasure. The head and neck are the most common parts of the body licked; this behaviour may have arisen out of utility because lions cannot lick these areas themselves. #flickrheroes

Oh, just a few more trees in the water.... I hope everyone doesn't mind!

For the water discussion, this lake was formed over 40 years ago by damming the small Wakarusa river and a number of streams flowing into its water reservoir. Heavy rains last May led to widespread flooding in Kansas and very high water levels in the lake. Draining of the water has continued and now the water level is some 50 feet lower than normal. This has caused the trees which lined country roads and the creek beds to reappear above the water after being submerged for decades.

What happens to Robins in the winter?

In the winter, they become nomadic, searching widely for their favorite cold-weather fare. Weather also influences robin movements. A heavy snowfall that persists for more than a few days may send them on their way, searching for better conditions. Robins also form flocks in the winter.

Can Robins survive snow?

Even in freezing temperatures, robins can stay warm enough to make staying through the winter worthwhile. ... If you want to observe robins in winter, try putting out water for them. They can survive on their own by eating snow, but birds always welcome a source of unfrozen water for drinking and bathing.

What do Robins eat when there is snow on the ground?

There isn't much one can feed robins in the winter. They're very adept at finding their preferred food and rarely visit feeding stations. During severe weather, robins may eat raisins, berries, or pieces of apples placed on the ground.

Do robins sing all day?

We know that robins are one of the first species to begin singing every morning. ... They sing the most early in the morning and at evening twilight after sunset. They sing the least around noon. We thought we could figure out approximately how many songs they sing each hour through the day, and add these up.

What is the sound of a robin singing?

It's a string of 10 or so clear whistles assembled from a few often-repeated syllables, and often described as cheerily, cheer up, cheer up, cheerily, cheer up. The syllables rise and fall in pitch but are delivered at a steady rhythm, with a pause before the bird begins singing again. At dawn, the song is more rapid.

Why do robins sing in winter?

The sound of a robin chirping in winter is a good sign, say scientists. It means the bird has built up enough fat reserves to survive the cold nights and has enough energy left to defend its territory. The bird traditionally sings in spring to attract a mate but in winter, when food is short, it faces a dilemma.

Catching the tidal movements on Clarach beach last week

I have become increasingly interested in making my Pentax 6x7, which otherwise produces nice, sharp, "perfect" into something that makes imperfect images. Using it out of focus, with lenses turned around, with the lens turned right but not mounted fully, and in this case, with a homemade tilt-shift contraption. I borrowed a lens from an old RA4 printing machine because I needed something that would cover the 7 centimeter long Pentax negative and still have room for movements. It is basically the Lensbaby effect, which itself is basically the same tilt-shift effect large format photographers have enjoyed for decades. Unlike the Lensbaby, this method has a sharper plane of focus, which I prefer.

But yeah, as technical as it sounds, it really isn't. Auxiliary lens crammed onto camera body (recycled cloth bag for bellows) and away I go loose on the beach.

Mental note to self, do more of this.

We drove 90 minutes in search of the elusive reddish egret and found only ONE! This is only the second one I've ever seen & I had hoped to find one in bright breeding colours but beggars can't be choosers... I took hundreds of photos of this active bird fishing at Fort de Soto!

Thanks for all the faves and kind comments!

I found this baby field mouse shivering in the middle of a path. Too young to have left the nest already, with his eyes till not open, it looks like he's hugging himself to conserve heat - but he's really washing his whiskers and this is one of the movements involved in doing so.

I popped him into cover in the hope that his mummy might find him, rather than a kestrel or grass snake!
