Aren't we all like a shaping coastline?
Under the surface, we are being moved constantly; our layers are being shifted, we experience internal movements which can result in deep, sometimes magnificent changes.
On the surface, we experience the gentle caresses of the waves, or the crashing hits by the waves, the warm heat of the sun, or the frozen blows of the winds, all the natural forces around us are forming, sculpting us in the every day.
And parts of us do collapse sometimes. And when that happens, they can fall violently, or roll slowly, in any ways, at the end they all will be washed away by the big seas of time.
Image of Duncansby Stacks, located at the most north easterly point of Scotland / mainland Great Britain.
It was recorded 5 days ago. It was different the day before that, it was different a thousand years ago and it will be different a million years later.
However it was in the past or will be in the future, it never stops being beautiful.
Having guided train movements for almost a century, the tired B&O CPL intermediate signals light up for a nighttime eastbound at Nebraska, IN. Around 30 hours later, they would be deactivated and removed on 8/20/2025.
These three images I took of a mute swan as it was about to take off. I converted them into a minimalist looking b/w hope you like them!
We visited the stunning Llanddwyn Island when in Wales… what a stunning place it was but the time of the day… it being busy… and just mid afternoon light had me looking to ICM as a way of trying to make something interesting and creative! As you can tell im a bit in love with ICM as a technique this year!

And then there's this. You might remember the house next to the concrete silo. This is the same house shot from a bit farther west. And since there are no real movements in the Graflex, you get what you get.
But since I didn't shoot it with a wide open aperture, the depth of focus is deeper - more things are in "focus".
The weird thing on the left that sort of looks like a light leak is, in fact, a light leak. It's neither the fault of the film holder nor the camera. It was a user error from the user putting a label on the film holder. That small width of the label was enough to lift the holder up just a tiny smidge - but it was enough to let a sliver of light in.

Today I say good morning with this photograph of L'Hemisfèric right at the blue hour, inspired by a spaceship over the city, no photoshop effects only playing with the lights and reflections through a long exposure and zoming movements with several stops.
Regarding the technical part, it is a long exposure of 30 seconds using Canon equipment and the combination of a Filter Formatt Hitech Filters ND gradient smooth three stops and a ND of four stops, added to several movements of the ring of the zoom take the shot.
I hope you like it, delighted to read your comments with your opinion.
Have a nice Tuesday. ;)

Rice harvesting in Vietnam is a testament to human resilience and the enduring connection to the land. Generations of Vietnamese farmers have honed their skills, transforming vast emerald fields into golden harvests.
From the meticulous planting of seedlings to the arduous task of hand-harvesting with sickles, each stage demands immense physical labor. Under the scorching sun, farmers work tirelessly, their movements rhythmic and precise. The act of harvesting is not merely a chore, but a deeply ingrained tradition, a celebration of life nurtured from the earth. Trung Khanh, Vietnam
