Was trying to catch some Wrens near our wood pile today but instead found someone else who likes wood piles.
Differentiated from House Mouse by brown tan colour on top and white underneath. Head is more curved. Also larger eyes and bigger hind feet.
Came across this little Bank vole at Tentsmuir forest whilst having a lunch stop 👌I have home some apple to chew on 🐭
Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney back in 1928, and is probably the worlds most recognised cartoon character. He is seen here helping tell the time on an old vintage alarm clock.
He is also subject to one of my favourite jokes, but I will only tell it if requested..............
Heh. Miss Mousie was kind enough to pause for a few moments to let me photograph her(or him) before disappearing into the woods.

I went to check the feeders after work, nothing there at first then this Mouse sped up the tree trunk to the feeder for a nibble.
From a bicoloured square of kraft paper.
Trying some colour changes in my mouse.

Moltes gràcies, Ramon!
I made this last night and it was quite fiddly working with linen fabric. I am quite happy with the result.
This little mouse shinned up the leaves of a young Rose and then balanced itself on the top of the pole whilst eyeing up the adjacent bird feeder

But not for long :0( from the mouse's point of view, however short )
Who could luck out in Norfolk, and then bag a local bird, only me :0(
Not in your league Tony , but its the best I could do.
A privilege to see let alone photograph , dedicated to a special friend.
This is my friends little pet mouse Daisy. I was having fun with her tonight and perched her on a gigantic sunflower. This was the best capture I caught. She is SO active, but she really is adorable! This is one of those photos that I hope makes you smile again!!! :) View On Black
And now something a little different.
I do not know terribly much about the Mouse Guards, one pictured here, I just think they look nice. I have seen Shelly post about them, I also know there was a movie in the works at some point but it ran into problems and I don’t think it’s on anymore.
I saw a Getcrazybricks Kickstarter thing about these a while ago and decided to support enough to get at least one figure just to see how they’re like. It arrived a few days ago and it looked great!
Due to the nature of these figures I went for exceptionally heavy editing with the colours. It’s a mouse with cape, shield and a sword, no need for strict realism here exactly.
This is obviously not an official Lego product but rather something that is compatible with the brick. Nevertheless, I'm treating it as Lego. It just shows how versatile the Danish toy is.
I've been working on making little fleece tops, scarves, and a few hats for mouse tree ornaments.
I bought the mice on clearance at Lowes after Christmas several years ago for less than a dollar each. I finally upgraded their outfits a bit. I used a thrift store red fleece scarf (0.50) and a thrifted craft kit ($2) that contained a variety of wool scraps. The striped scarves are just strips cut from thrift store kids tops (0.50 each). I did not need to hem any of the fabric so it made the process nice and easy. They look much more festive now.
I hung them on my mini tree which is Maileg inspired.
I really enjoyed photographing this tiny Harvest Mouse during a Wildlife Workshop. Amazing little creatures.
