It has been very special to see Daisy playing this week. This tiny mouse has always been one of her favourite toys. Originally it had a yellow feather as its tail, but that got chewed to bits a long time ago. Happy Caturday!

Harvest mouse feeding on seeds of Yarrow, Great fun on a very wet weekend, taken in own garage with a pair of captive bred mice. Three flashes used two on subject and one on background.
A mouse raiding the bird feeders in our Cotoneaster hedge. It's getting really cheeky about it, so we are going to have to move the feeders. My daughter has decided it's called Kevin, so I can't put a trap out now !
This is the classic view of an iconic place in Corfu. In the foreground is the 17th Century church & monastery of Panagia Vlacherma. From this islet ,one is able to get a boat to visit Pontikonisi (Mouse island ) in the mid-ground . On this islet is the lovely Byzantine chapel of Pantokrator dating back to the 11th Century. Seen here among the trees, in the centre of this islet.

behind very dirty glass. I found these tiny mice so difficult to capture with my camera as the light wasn't very good and there were a lot of reflections on the glass. But despite the depth of field being so shallow here and showing up the glass more than the mouse I was quite pleased that it kept a still enough pose for me as they move so quickly.
These mice really are small - their bodies are only about 5-7 cm long with a 6cm long tail. I have never spotted any in the wild.

Following a garden invasion by house mice, which we discovered were from a nest in the shed, it's nice to see a wood mouse again. I think they're much more attractive with their brown and cream colouration.

We saw this tiny mouse at the edge of a flower border in Plas Newydd gardens. We stood quietly and were able to watch it for about half an hour, as it munched through fallen flowers and buds.
A couple more shots in the comment below.
