Taken with a Sony A7R and a non-Ai Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 lens (the K version with the Gauss optical formula). As you might imagine, this setup is quite heavy. If you’re a hard-core Nikon film camera buff, you probably know all about this classic Nikon camera and its accessories. If not (or you need a refresher), then read on: the MD-3 was the motor drive aimed at advanced amateurs with a lower frame advance rate compared to the pro-oriented models. In combination with the MB-2 battery pack which holds eight AA batteries, you had to be an ardent amateur to carry this combination for non-paying photography. The rechargeable ni-cads of the MB-1 battery pack have long since gone kaput so as it turns out, decades later, the MB-2 wins for longevity.

BR Class 55 No. D9009 'Alycidon' crosses Misbourne Viaduct, and passes over the M25, leading UK Railtour's 'The Golden Jubilee Pullman' charter, from London Victoria to Kidderminster, on 16th May 2015. On arrival at Kidderminster the charter will be hauled to Bridgnorth by Bulleid West Country class light Pacific No. 34027 'Taw Valley', which has recently returned to traffic after an absence of nine years.

1983 Renault Maxi 5 Turbo - A27LWU. The original rally car was apparenty built in 1984 to compete in the 1984/85 British Tarmac Rally Championship. The car seen here, the result of a later restoration completed in around 2000, was on display at the IGNITION Festival of Motoring, Glasgow, August 2017.

ARRIVA Buses Wales VDL Cadet 2484 - CX04 AYB sets off from Rhyl on Circular Service 36 via Dyserth & Prestatyn. For so long a Bangor bus, this now works out of Rhyl depot.
A well used Bentley 3 Litre tourer in excellent condition, posing by the Abbey Tea Rooms in Rosedale Abbey, North Yorkshire.
Originally registered in 1926 as a Bentley 3 litre Freestone and Webb bodied saloon, this car was subsequently chopped into the convertible 'tourer' body seen here and fitted with a 4.5 litre engine.
Motoring out from Portsmouth Harbour and slowly heading West down the Solent was this unidentified vessel
According to a watcher I spoke to, it didn't appear on his Marine tracking site either!

Apart from turning over the engine, lockdown means the car has hardly been out now for over a month. Look what is already growing out of the gap where the driver's door shuts!
on Sunday June 23, 2019, Sydney Rail Services operated a fundraising special, 'Emily's Train' to Goulburn - raising funds for a young girl battling cancer. Operated by 5917 and 42103, these images were captured on the return leg between Goulburn and Mittagong.
