I seem to be doing a lot of silly stuff these days. And one of those is making little videos out of my old powerpoint presentations using proshow. Awesome transitions. And totally mindless busy work. Exactly what is needed sometimes.

An educational project made during the International Typography Workshop in Czieszyn (http://www.zamekcieszyn.pl/pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1201&Itemid=51) led by Professor Jan Kubasiewicz, Coordinator of Dynamic Media Institute at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston (http://dmiboston.org/archive/archives/by_faculty/kubasiewicz_jan/).

The task was to interpret a part of Eugeniusz Rudnik's music composition Kolaż (http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugeniusz_Rudnik) visually using motion design.

A bit about process and behind the scenes could be found at the workshop's wiki page (http://dynamicgd.pbworks.com/V%C3%ADt-Zemč%C3%ADk).

Love national parks?

There's a holiday for that!

In 2023, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management joined the National Park Service to celebrate all things “parks.”

To highlight the programs and partners that preserve natural and cultural heritage while providing recreational opportunities in places across the country—and even the world-we selected some of our favorite ocean, coastal and national seashores in the National Park System!

Using the 2023 #NationalParkWeek theme of #MyParkStory - we identified 9 parks that be believe embody connection, discovery, accomplishment, tradition, gratitude, ingenuity, inspiration, fun, and love. To capture the essence of these Parks, we launched never-before-seen National Park Tokens (NPTs).

Collect your favorites here! And make sure to share #YourParkStory ️

This is a motion graphic show opener I created for a weekly internet show called "The Techology Show" (blending technology and theology). The audio track was already their opening audio. The original file is 35 seconds long, with the video fading out to an alpha channel for their live feed while the music keeps playing.

Simple test to get used to the new camera framing behavior in Motion 4. I need to find a 3D globe of the world to use in Motion.

This is a short animation sequence I created whilst working at Chemical Effects: www.chemicaleffects.tv

The sequence was created for the LA Camp Kuleshove awards ceremony to introduce the winners of this years competition.

This animation was created in 8 days and the music was re-edited from a Danny Elfman track taken from Pee-Wee Herman's Big Adventure in record breaking time ...

AICE, the Association of Independent Creative Editors, runs Camp Kuleshov, a trailer-editing competition for assistant editors. Originally known as the Trailer Park, the contest has been renamed after the Kulsehov Effect, a study in the impact of film editing on viewers by Russian film maker Lev Kuleshov in the 1920s. While each chapter’s competition has its own creative brief and requirements, the common challenge calls for assistant editors to choose from a list of feature films and create a trailer that changes the genre or narrative of the film in an unexpected way.
