Just thought the black sands of Lanzarote would be a good subject matter to try out the ICM.
Two autumn cottonwoods move in slow motion dance before the backdrop of a multi-colored stone wall in Capitol Reef National Park.
The light was too low to freeze action without super-high ISO, so I went the other way and played with long exposures at low ISO to see if I could catch the feeling of motion. These are Bufflehead hens, and they are fast fliers, so I was panning quickly.
This image was shot in the afternoon kind of from underneath this ride. Why I chose this is because this ride is something that we usually see spinning and lit up, but although it is an object that exudes motion it is seen here kind of eery in how still and dark it is.
