À Montjoie, l’automne habille chaque recoin d’une douceur particulière. La Chapelle Saint-Antoine, avec sa porte rouge éclatante et l’arbre aux feuilles orange qui l’accompagne, semble sortir d’une carte postale. Artist Statement:
Threshold of the Knowing is about the moment right before change takes hold before language fails, before certainty evaporates. The figure stands poised between two worlds: the curated, velvet-trimmed interior and the elemental, uninviting exterior. The red door does not open to comfort, but to confrontation. There is no road. No promise. Only mud and sky and the sense that something will be revealed not in what is seen, but in what must be walked through. This is the portrait of transformation not yet understood. This is the silence before impact.

Artist Statement:
The Final Curtain explores the edge between performance and abandonment, memory and surrender. The figure stands at the water’s edge draped in crimson, facing a storm that mirrors her internal state. The sea spills in like an audience dismissed. Birds circle like echoes of former witnesses watchful, judging, remembering. The draped velvet curtains imply the end of a play, but here, the play was never acted, only survived. This is the moment where the character no longer plays the role, but meets herself in full, unguarded silence.

This Photo was actually taken at sunset. The evening sun was creating a thick mist off the frozen lake. I had to trek onto the ice to get this shot.
