Into the silence of stone and moss — a hike through shadows, solitude, and timeless forest magic.

🇫🇷

Là où tout semblait figé, la nature murmure encore.

Chaque porte garde la mémoire du vent.

Les murs se referment, mais la vie, elle, ne cesse jamais d’entrer.

Where all once stood still, nature still whispers.

Every door remembers the wind.

The walls may close, yet life always finds a way in.

A new day dawns as golden flowers rise resiliently against the dark, rolling hills in this striking composition by Duncan Rawlinson. Created using a blend of AI techniques and photography, this piece symbolizes renewal and the turning of the tide toward brighter times. The glowing flowers contrast with the shadowy hills, representing hope and resilience in the face of darkness.

Landscapes around Clophill Bedordshire...

Norway is a place of endless natural beauty. Incredible fjords, winding small roads, raw tunnels carved through the bedrock and so much more. These images are from summer road trips during 2024.

These images do not utilize AI and are original imagery with no items added or removed (such as errant leaves, pieces of trash, or power lines). What you see is as close to the moment as I experienced it.

At the summit of La Puerta del Diablo in San Salvador, silence stretches across the stone, broken only by the wind and the watchful presence of a lone vulture. Perched above the scars of legend, it becomes both sentinel and symbol — a reminder of mortality, of time’s endless passage, and of the myths that haunt these cliffs. Some say this place was torn open by the Devil’s escape, yet here, high above the valley, it feels less like a wound and more like a threshold. The vulture does not look back nor forward; it simply endures, eternal as the sky itself.

At 13,000 feet, the world narrows to granite and cloud. The air hums with silence as light drifts across the ridge — a moment suspended between stone and sky.

Also, the gate to the next lot of challenges of trying to take photos when the sky is blanketed by a flat, featureless grey cloud...
