The sun dips low, spilling a warm orange glow across the wet sand where sea and shore meet. Reflections break and shimmer, cliffs rise silently to the left, and the sky fades from fire to cool blue beneath a soft grey veil. A breathtaking moment caught between light and earth.
During my Manali expedition, I captured this serene composition showcasing the natural layering of the Himalayan landscape. The frame is perfectly divided between the vibrant spring foliage in the foreground, the stoic evergreen middle ground, and the dramatic peaks rising in the background. A weathered deodar cedar stands as a natural focal point, its stark silhouette creating beautiful contrast against the moody, overcast sky. The mountain ridges show fascinating patterns of snow and rock, while power lines remind us of the delicate balance between preservation and progress in these remote regions.

En bordure du parc de l’Eifel, on a eu la surprise de croiser une vache Highland, au milieu de paysages vallonnés baignés par la brume automnale. Avec son pelage épais et son regard paisible, elle semblait parfaitement s’intégrer dans cet environnement un peu mystérieux.
Les vaches Highland, originaires des montagnes d'Écosse, sont connues pour leur robuste constitution et leur épais manteau de poils, qui les protège du froid. On suppose que ces caractéristiques les rendent adaptées à la région de l’Eifel. En tout cas, elle semblait à l’aise dans ce cadre paisible, ajoutant une touche singulière et presque intemporelle à ce paysage automnal.
