Introduction
Because she came from an impoverished family, from an early age Du Juan was determined to make a lot of money to live a better life. In order to realize this aim, she left school early on to do manual work, whatever she could do to earn money. She did not complain when the work was hard and tiring. However, she did not achieve the desired result. Regardless of how hard she worked, she could not attain the life that she wanted for herself. In 2008, harboring the dream of making a lot of money, she and her husband went to Japan to work. After a few years, the pressure of onerous work and the excessive working hours caused her to collapse from fatigue. The results of hospital investigations made her mood plummet to an all-time low, but in order to realize her ideals, Du Juan was not prepared to give in. She continued to work, carrying her illness, her mind set on struggling on. Eventually, the torture of her condition forced her to halt the progress of her pursuit of money. In the midst of her pain, she began to reflect: Why after all does man live this life? Is it worth it to risk one's life for the sake of money? Is it the case that a life of money is a happy life? These doubts constantly roamed about in her mind. Not long after, Almighty God salvation of the last days came to her. From the words of Almighty God, she came to know the source of man's life of pain, and she also understood what man should live for, and how to live before he can have a meaningful human life…. Whenever she thought of this experience, Du Juan would sigh with emotion: This bout of illness had really made her obtain blessing from woe!

MONEY TALKS!!!
A softer style of Punk from England with Pauline Murray.
This is their first single. A good one if you like early Punk.
Named after the Stooges song of the same name the band were formed in late 76 in Ferryhill County Durham by three friends Pauline Murray, Robert Blamire and Gary Smallman after seeing the Sex Pistols play in Manchester. They played their first gig in October 76 at the Middlesborough Rock Garden and played their first London gig at the famous Roxy Club in January 77 supporting Gen X. This first gig in the bright lights of London was less than fondly recalled by Pauline "We spent a fortune getting down there. We thought it was great. Then when we got there it was such a dump. I don't know what we were expecting but it wasn't quite that ."
While singles were coming out a plenty by other acts Penetration, like X Ray Spex and The Rezillos (Siouxsie would have to wait a further year !) had to wait till later in the year to get a recording contract (strangely all women lead bands ! ?). The excellent 'Don't Dictate' was released late '77 then 'Firing Squad', early '78, before original member Gary Chaplin jumped ship. Neal Floyd joined and then a second guitarist Fred Purser was added who was more metallic minded with guitar noodling (later joining The Tygers Of Pan Tang). The debut 'Moving Targets' was released in late '78. Heavy touring in 1979 and another album 'Coming Up For Air', but no real commercial success found Penetration in internal disharmony.
The album appeared after the band had decided to split. The end came at a Newcastle City Hall which was recorded and issued on the posthumous bootleg 'Race Against Time'. Amazingly Penetration have reformed this year (2002) and are playing gigs.

Brick making is a valuable industry to Pakistan - indigenous and providing employment in rural areas where agriculture may not be enough to sustain all the people.
There are 1.8 million workers in brick kiln factories. Most of them work under inhuman conditions and the majority are like bonded labour because of the peshgi system. Under this system, the bosses offer advance money to workers, who cannot leave until they repay the whole amount. Most of the workers are illiterate and they do not know how much money is being repaid. The take advantage of this and impose many so-called fines on workers.
Many brick factories today are built in extremely rural areas. Afghan refugees, for example, easily find employment in brick kilns since they are more willing to work under the gruesome conditions in the field than to return back to the troubles in their own country. As such, it has become more common to see a worsening of the work conditions, where long hours in the sun at temperatures exceeding 40 Celsius would only result in daily average pays of 50-70 Rupees per day.
Child labour is a major issue for some Pakistani industries, and brick kilns are a good example of that. Children as young as 5 years old can be found employed at these factories. The income of the household, not being enough to feed the entire family, means that many children, who should be in school playing with other children their age, instead must go to the local brick factories and work long hours. They work all day, and sometimes into the night - for barely enough money to feed themselves and their siblings at home.
