1961 Mint Gillette Fat Boy Razor G1
1960 Mint Gillette Fat Boy Razor G1, All mechanics work great, the TTO knob opens and closes as it should and the adjustments turn and click perfectly! This razor is in Mint Condition. The numbers on the adjusting wheel aren't missing any of the black paint, also the anodized ring under the adjuster is as black as if it was new. In some of the pictures you may see small amounts of black residue, don't worry that's just leftover polish that will come off easily with a toothbrush, I guess my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. Please be sure to see the pictures.
This great vintage razor is a fine collectible, or used as a daily shaver. It has been cleaned, sterelized and polished by hand using Q-tips and toothpicks to make sure it's totally clean. This absolutely beautiful collectible razor is shave ready. Gillette Fatboy Razor, F2 made in the second quarter of 1960, it is MADE IN USA. The Gillette Fatboy is an adjustable razor (1-9), which fine tunes your shave. This is regarded as one of the best razors that Gillette ever made! I own quite a few other FATBOYS, and they are awesome shaving razors which will never be seen again!

It is in fair vintage condition with some plate loss to the outside of the upper blade plate, as you can see in the pictures, also the outside of the upper blade plate has pock marks along the edges. All parts fit together as they should. The razor has No stress fractures to the handle which is something that's hard to find these days. It has been cleaned using antibacterial soap and Barbasol.
This great razor is in serviceable condition. Even though this item is not a collectible it still shaves like a beauty. These razors give wonderful shaves and are bit more aggressive than later models, try it, perhaps you like it.
