1921 Gillette Standard Combination Set No.00G
This beautiful collectible set is a 1921 Gillette Standard Combination Set No. 00G, it contains a 1921 Gold Gillette "Old Type" Open Tooth Comb Safety Razor that has been expertly re-plated in gold and is in absolutely Mint condition. The razor is completely flawless, every part of this Mint condition razor fits together exactly as it was meant to. The handle screws onto the upper blade plate and tightens down precisely as it should to hold the blade in place.
The interior of the case is in Excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures, showing only One spot of vintage ware. The interior of the case is covered in Royal purple fabric that maintains its beautiful color after all these years. The exterior of the case is in Very Good+ condition with a small scuff here and there (see pics.) There are no rips or tares to the leather that the case is made of. The button that holds the case closed is as tight as it was when it was made, showing no wear around either part of it, holding the lid closed as it was meant to do.
The kit contains the two original Gillette canisters and the two original gold Gillette blade cases which are in Very Good condition, the gold plating on one of the two canisters needs to be buffed and polished, which I was not going to try to do. And Also included with this fantastic set is a NOS (new old stock) unopened box of 10 Gillette Super Blue Blades, still encased in the original cellophane.
The Gillette Case is a leather grain exterior, with the Royal purple velvet interior, the inside of the top of the case shows the Gillette trademark, Made In USA "Known the World Over" Logo. This is a highly collectible "Old Type" Gillette shaving kit and would be a great addition to any Gillette safety razor collection. Nowadays they are extremely hard to find, especially in this condition, they're not making these anymore and when one is found it probably should be held onto. Don't let this one get away!

This great Gillette safety razor is a nickel plated Old Type, with absolutely No Plate Loss. Included in this fantastic World War I Gillette shaving kit is the original Gillette blade safe, it also has No Plate Loss. Originally sold for $5.00. This shaving kit was made in the USA by Gillette during 1917. Making this beautiful U.S. Gillette shaving kit at least 97 years old, and it still looks new.
The inside of the case is covered in Royal purple with no rips or tares, the printing on the inside of the lid looks as good as if it were new as can be seen in the pictures. The hinges and the front clasp work as they should with no problems whatsoever. The handle of this great Gillette razor does bear a Very Small crack at the upper ring but is stable. Also included with this set is the original mirror, it's not your typical mirror it's actually a piece of polished metal, it works very well actually, you can see yourself well enough to shave with it, it is underneath the inside lid covering… Sorry, I forgot to photograph it but it is in excellent condition.
This Gillette U.S. Service Set will make someone a great daily shaver and in such good condition that any collector would be glad to own it. This beautiful collectible set is a 1921 Gillette Standard Combination Set No. 00G, it contains a 1921 Gold Gillette "Old Type" Open Tooth Comb Safety Razor that has been expertly re-plated in gold and is in absolutely Mint condition. The razor is completely flawless, every part of this Mint condition razor fits together exactly as it was meant to. The handle screws onto the upper blade plate and tightens down precisely as it should to hold the blade in place.
The interior of the case is in Excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures, showing only One spot of vintage ware. The interior of the case is covered in Royal purple fabric that maintains its beautiful color after all these years. The exterior of the case is in Very Good+ condition with a small scuff here and there (see pics.) There are no rips or tares to the leather that the case is made of. The button that holds the case closed is as tight as it was when it was made, showing no wear around either part of it, holding the lid closed as it was meant to do.
The kit contains the two original Gillette canisters and the two original gold Gillette blade cases which are in Very Good condition, the gold plating on one of the two canisters needs to be buffed and polished, which I was not going to try to do. And Also included with this fantastic set is a NOS (new old stock) unopened box of 10 Gillette Super Blue Blades, still encased in the original cellophane.
The Gillette Case is a leather grain exterior, with the Royal purple velvet interior, the inside of the top of the case shows the Gillette trademark, Made In USA "Known the World Over" Logo. This is a highly collectible "Old Type" Gillette shaving kit and would be a great addition to any Gillette safety razor collection. Nowadays they are extremely hard to find, especially in this condition, they're not making these anymore and when one is found it probably should be held onto. Don't let this one get away!

1959 Mint Gillette Fatboy E-1 made in the first quarter of 1959, it is MADE IN USA. The Gillette Fatboy is an adjustable razor (1-9), which fine tunes your shave. 1959 Gillette "FATBOY" double edge safety razor date code E-1 in the Original Case. The twist action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks. The doors raise and lower slightly as they should when you adjust the shave. The lower the number, the less likely you will knick your skin. As the pictures indicate, there is no pitting, brassing or corrosion. The razor is in Almost Mint Condition. It is clean and shiny, with no evidence of wear. It opens and shuts smoothly, and the adjuster stops on each click and raises and lowers.
The black paint on the numbers and collar is in New Looking condition. This is a really beautiful Gillette adjustable "FATBOY" razor, in the Original Case with a partial NOS dispenser of Gillette Super Blue Blades. The case is clear with no cracks or scratches. The only problem with the case is one broken guide with no consequences to opening or closing the case. With the case lid closed this area can't be seen, please refer to the pictures.
The razor has been thoroughly cleaned and polished, then sanitized with Barbasol. This great kit is ready to display or use. The black paint on the numbers and collar is in Excellent Condition and there is lots of red remaining on the number indicator. This razor design is tried and true and is both a work horse and a show horse. The razor has been cleaned and polished by hand and is shave ready. In some of the pictures you may see small amounts of black residue, don't worry that's just leftover polish that will come off easily with a toothbrush, I guess my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
