1959 Mint Gillette Fatboy E-1 made in the first quarter of 1959, it is MADE IN USA. The Gillette Fatboy is an adjustable razor (1-9), which fine tunes your shave. This is regarded as one of the best razors that Gillette ever made! I own quite a few other FATBOYS, and they are awesome shaving razors!
All mechanics work great, the TTO (twist to open) knob turns easily and closes as it should to hold the blade in place, the adjustment wheel turns easily and clicks on every number! This great razor is in Mint Condition. There is absolutely No plate loss, brassing or rust anywhere on this razor. In some of the pictures you may see small amounts of black residue, don't worry that's just leftover polish that will come off easily with a toothbrush, I guess my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. Please be sure to see the pictures.
The numbers on the adjuster aren't missing any of the black paint. Also, the anodized ring under the adjuster wheel is as black as the day it was made. This great vintage razor is a fine collectible for Any collection or to be used as a daily shaver. It has been cleaned, polished and sterelized in Barbasol and is shave ready. All you have to do is put in one of your favorite blades.

The twist action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks. The doors raise and lower slightly as they should when you adjust the shave. The lower the number, the less likely you will knick your skin. As the pictures indicate, there is no pitting, brassing or corrosion. The razor is in Almost Mint Condition. It is clean and shiny, with no evidence of wear. It opens and shuts smoothly, and the adjuster stops on each click and raises and lowers.
The black paint on the numbers and collar is in New Looking condition. This is a really beautiful Gillette adjustable "FATBOY" razor, in the Original Case with a partial NOS dispenser of Gillette Super Blue Blades. The case is clear with no cracks or scratches. The only problem with the case is one broken guide with no consequences to opening or closing the case. With the case lid closed this area can't be seen, please refer to the pictures.
The razor has been thoroughly cleaned and polished, then sanitized with Barbasol. This great kit is ready to display or use. I offer for sale a 1917 Gillette U.S. Service Set Old Type Open Tooth Comb Safety Razor and the Original Blade Safe. All the teeth of the open comb blade guard have withstood the test of time, No Bent or Broken teeth. It has a weight of 48g. This great find is in Excellent Condition!
This great Gillette safety razor is a nickel plated Old Type, with absolutely No Plate Loss. Included in this fantastic World War I Gillette shaving kit is the original Gillette blade safe, it also has No Plate Loss. Originally sold for $5.00. This shaving kit was made in the USA by Gillette during 1917. Making this beautiful U.S. Gillette shaving kit at least 97 years old, and it still looks new.
The inside of the case is covered in Royal purple with no rips or tares, the printing on the inside of the lid looks as good as if it were new as can be seen in the pictures. The hinges and the front clasp work as they should with no problems whatsoever. The handle of this great Gillette razor does bear a Very Small crack at the upper ring but is stable. Also included with this set is the original mirror, it's not your typical mirror it's actually a piece of polished metal, it works very well actually, you can see yourself well enough to shave with it, it is underneath the inside lid covering… Sorry, I forgot to photograph it but it is in excellent condition.
This Gillette U.S. Service Set will make someone a great daily shaver and in such good condition that any collector would be glad to own it. 1920s Gillette Old Type Safety Razor
1920s Gillette Old Type Safety Razor. This razor has a weight of 50g. It is in fair vintage condition with some plate loss to the outside of the upper blade plate, as you can see in the pictures, also the outside of the upper blade plate has pock marks along the edges. All parts fit together as they should. The razor has No stress fractures to the handle which is something that's hard to find these days. It has been cleaned using antibacterial soap and Barbasol.
This great razor is in serviceable condition. Even though this item is not a collectible it still shaves like a beauty. These razors give wonderful shaves and are bit more aggressive than later models, try it, perhaps you like it. The black paint on the numbers and collar is in New Looking condition. This is a really beautiful Gillette adjustable "FATBOY" razor, in the Original Case with a partial NOS dispenser of Gillette Super Blue Blades. The case is clear with no cracks or scratches. The only problem with the case is one broken guide with no consequences to opening or closing the case. With the case lid closed this area can't be seen, please refer to the pictures.

I offer for sale a 1917 Gillette U.S. Service Set Old Type Open Tooth Comb Safety Razor and the Original Blade Safe. All the teeth of the open comb blade guard have withstood the test of time, No Bent or Broken teeth. It has a weight of 48g. This great find is in Excellent Condition!
This great Gillette safety razor is a nickel plated Old Type, with absolutely No Plate Loss. Included in this fantastic World War I Gillette shaving kit is the original Gillette blade safe, it also has No Plate Loss. Originally sold for $5.00. This shaving kit was made in the USA by Gillette during 1917. Making this beautiful U.S. Gillette shaving kit at least 97 years old, and it still looks new.
The inside of the case is covered in Royal purple with no rips or tares, the printing on the inside of the lid looks as good as if it were new as can be seen in the pictures. The hinges and the front clasp work as they should with no problems whatsoever. The handle of this great Gillette razor does bear a Very Small crack at the upper ring but is stable. Also included with this set is the original mirror, it's not your typical mirror it's actually a piece of polished metal, it works very well actually, you can see yourself well enough to shave with it, it is underneath the inside lid covering… Sorry, I forgot to photograph it but it is in excellent condition.
This Gillette U.S. Service Set will make someone a great daily shaver and in such good condition that any collector would be glad to own it. 1959 Gillette "FATBOY" double edge safety razor date code E-1 in the Original Case. The twist action to open the butterfly doors is crisp as well as the turning of the numbered collar to adjust the shave as each number clicks. The doors raise and lower slightly as they should when you adjust the shave. The lower the number, the less likely you will knick your skin. As the pictures indicate, there is no pitting, brassing or corrosion. The razor is in Almost Mint Condition. It is clean and shiny, with no evidence of wear. It opens and shuts smoothly, and the adjuster stops on each click and raises and lowers.
The black paint on the numbers and collar is in New Looking condition. This is a really beautiful Gillette adjustable "FATBOY" razor, in the Original Case with a partial NOS dispenser of Gillette Super Blue Blades. The case is clear with no cracks or scratches. The only problem with the case is one broken guide with no consequences to opening or closing the case. With the case lid closed this area can't be seen, please refer to the pictures.
The razor has been thoroughly cleaned and polished, then sanitized with Barbasol. This great kit is ready to display or use. If you notice the knob and handle are the same size, this is what makes the Parat unique, it is very similar to the 40's style Rocket but this sets it apart. 1950s British made German Gillette Parat in Very Good Condition. This razor shaves much like a Super Speed, but is slightly heavier. One of my personal favorite razors. 1920s Gillette Old Type Safety Razor. This razor has a weight of 50g. It is in fair vintage condition with some plate loss to the outside of the upper blade plate, as you can see in the pictures, also the outside of the upper blade plate has pock marks along the edges. All parts fit together as they should. The razor has No stress fractures to the handle which is something that's hard to find these days. It has been cleaned using antibacterial soap and Barbasol.
This great razor is in serviceable condition. Even though this item is not a collectible it still shaves like a beauty. These razors give wonderful shaves and are bit more aggressive than later models, try it, perhaps you like it.
