Fiesta de Singularidad Turística realizada en el pueblo de El Burgo en la provincia de Málaga, es una fiesta evocadora en torno al bandolerismo romántico y los modos de vida de la población burgueña y de la serranía a mediados del siglo diecinueve a través de una ambientación en equipamientos, indumentaria y escenificaciones, que permite al visitante adentrarse en esa época y formar parte de la historia bandolera a la que se dedica el evento, son los vecinos, la asociación Pasión Bandolera de El Burgo y otras asociaciones las que participan instalando las distintas dependencias y son las que llevan el peso de la organización.

I was fortunate enough to be in San Jose during the Modo pop-up at Mitsuwa. They do this one or twice a year, and the lines get extremely long (I waited over an hour). Modo is a mochi donut from Hawaii--if you havent tried this, you should. The texture is amazing. The flavors they had available were matcha, raspberry and taro sugar.
