I started hanging clothes to dry in the basement last week but decided to take advantage of the wood stove heat this time. Temporarily unsightly but it gets the job done quickly.
I photoshopped this image to colourize the car and decolourize the group. The original was posted a little while ago.
*Goofing with Picnik. Did some cropping, sharpening, saturating, drop shadowing....
My oldest son and his lovely g/f bought me this beautiful orchid. I'm so worried that I'm gonna murder it. It's very cold in our house most mornings in the winter so I've moved it into the living room which in the same room as the heat source.
Keeping fingers crossed for it!
The foam ddr pad I borrowed from my school's ddr club started getting defective so I duct taped a working but cheap (flat) one on top of it. If you look close you can see the duct tape on the corner.
In this photo the headlights were tinted (only for show purpose) and an aftermarket Vauxhall Calibra bumper had been customised to fit. Ronnie felt this bumper was far too big, and fitted the standard bumper with customised booster tuning front lip.

The Ghost & Phantom 2, modified with lots of extra details including a new roof and underside. The Phantom is changed a bit too, instructions are all here...

.
Almost all the modifications to The Ghost are external so you’ll only need to remove some panels and a handful of pieces before modding can begin. The 596 extra parts (mod both the Ghost and Phantom 2, plus a stand) are all common and will cost around £45, adding plenty of detail to the top and a lot more underneath.
.
Making clear modification instructions for this set was a challenge, I tried something a little different so they start with the complete set and detail which sections to remove, then which of those to disassemble and which to keep. Disassembly is simple and will take 10-15 mins, then the mods around an hour. There's also options (in a ZIP file on the Rebrickable page) to mod just the Phantom 2, or just the Ghost, and also to bild just the Phantom 1.

Here is front on view of my modified Constitution Express. I took that Chinese style hat off, it just looked silly in my opinion!
The MTV European Music Awards 2009 took place in Berlin on the 5th November with a line up including Beyonce, Shakira and Jay-Z. Lumacoustics were asked to provide a custom digital interactive wall solution based on their YrWallTM product. YrWallTM typically allows users to create graffiti digitally using a modified spray can on a three metre wide screen, for MTV functionality was added to allow full interactive control of a Twitter based application.
The interactive wall took centre stage on the Access All Areas backstage show presented by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. As soon as Pete began creating art on the wall he wanted one in his home, commenting: “..this is the most awesome thing ever!” Pete then hosted guests including Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, Joss Stone, Back Street Boys, Green Day and Placebo asking them to use YrWallTM to sign their name or create some art. The artwork was then automatically sent from the interactive wall to the MTV production office where it could be shown online or full screen during the live broadcast.
As well as being able to create digital graffiti, the show’s host and guests were able to monitor Twitter activity about the European Music Awards on the digital wall using an interactive Twitter application. The spray can was used to click on images and words on the screen to bring up a real-time display of activity on Twitter. Again this was fully integrated with the shows production so switching between the graffiti and Twitter applications was seamless on the night.

Some things have to be done, since Leopard Apple has been holding back from coloured menubar icons. Tweetie didn't do this so I changed it. ( icons are here : dl.getdropbox.com/u/16204/tumblr_posts/tweetie_icons.zip )
Okay, guys, I think I like it more now. I've modified the seat, lengthening the bike four studs. I've modified the footrests and handlebars in more detail. I've added that silkscreened part to the engine. I've added a brake light to the rear and filled in the gaps between the frame and the rear wheel. Of course, I didn't have to take the last photo. 😋
Modified by using Picasa2. The original is earlier in my photostream, and there are also other modifications.
